Zarraffa's Coffee Hendra — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Horrific service from the franchisee of this place. Gentleman who took our order over the drive through was shouting through the intercom and not listening to us, so much so that we had to reverse out of the drive through and go into the store to have our order taken clearly. The same man served us at the counter, and was equally rude, barely listening to us, listing upsells at us without stating additional costs. I VERY clearly ordered a soy chai fusion with espresso. Answered at least four upselling questions knowing that he wasn’t disclosing extra charges. When my order came it was on full cream with no espresso. When I took it back in the female staff member was amazing and so helpful. However the franchisee who was standing behind her openly tried to disagree with me when I said that my order was wrong, when he hadn’t even written down what I had asked.

Goyslop Menu is covered in words, 20 options for coffee and you have to ask what kind of food they have The 'food' is microwaved pre-made slop. I got the egg and bacon sandwich and it was molten hot from the microwave, soggy and the egg is not fresh.Also looking at the menu online as I write this - why is there 25g of sugar in a egg and bacon roll? My roll and mocha in total is the entire RDI of sugar in one day, and that was just breakfast. By comparison the triple choc brownie on their menu has less sugar.

When I ask for the sandwich the guy immediately says 'is that the double egg and bacon?', and most people would say yes without thinking but this is actually an extra. This is a dishonest tactic that I don't appreciate. You couldn't pay me to eat double of that sandwich.

I often go to this Zarraffas after a night shift and they never offer me my free coffee on my Z card like when I am at my local Zarraffas. What I find poor about this, is not only do they never ask but its always the franchisee who takes my order and rushes me through my payment so quickly that I don't even feel comfortable to ask about it. When my order is taken my other staff they always ask. I find this extremely off putting and i've considered not returning to this Zarraffas because of this. This has happened now on numerous occasions and then my local always offers my free coffee leaving them out of pocket considering I gain points from both of these stores.
