Pizza Pit — Restaurant in Budgewoi

Disappointing Experience with Unprofessional Service I had an extremely unsatisfactory experience with my recent order today 2/8/25 which took almost two hours . As excuse from reception of restaurant to us I understand that external factors such as weather or logistical issues may cause delays, the lack of clear communication from the restaurant was frustrating.

The customer service was especially disappointing. We were first notified that the order had been completed and was out for delivery. When I called to confirm, I was told the order was still awaiting a driver, without any time estimate or pick up time could be 20-25mins from time calling. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I noticed the fact that the dining area was far from busy, with many tables unoccupied which one of the excuse for the delaying.

Additionally, the cashier claimed that our order was still in the oven, which appeared to be a misleading explanation. It would have been far more professional and considerate to simply inform us of the delay in advance, rather than providing conflicting information. No apologise or any words from management has been made Given the lack of transparency and the inconvenience caused, I am deeply disappointed and will not be returning or recommending this...

Very disappointing , Tuesday night told delivery within the hour.... almost two hours later received undercooked Ribs and Cold Pizza . Manager rude and condescending because " he was cooking Pizza"! Something not quite right about this as we have previously been more than happy with both Food and Service. Seriously this is not how to keep a business running, the Manager stated our order would be here in minutes and yet half an hour later still waiting. Delivery driver stating we're short staffed.... not the customers problem!!! Manager is not a Manager if this is how they run the Restaurant, support the workers who turn up, send quality product to your customers or like has happened here lose a long term customer who will spread the word about the appalling decline of what was once an absolute "go to" for great food and service. Disappointed, what once was great is now very ordinary, Manager gives lip service and nothing more...if he truly was making the Pizza,two Anchovies don't cut it on a large Pizza. To the young staff who try their best,I feel sorry for you...this is not a good work environment, you deserve better! Pizza Pit Budgewoi...

Ordered take away and it was wrong, drove out of our way to go back and get it remade. Whilst frustrating, it was no issue and no reflection on front of house staff. When we got there the chef was abusing the front of house staff about regarding our order, all within earshot, and when she spoke to my husband he apologized to her that she was treated that way, as it is completely unacceptable to have to accept abuse in any workplace. Spoke to the owner and all he could say was that "this was the dynamic in their restaurant" which basically says that he is happy for employees to abuse other employees to the point of tears, because they tried to help a customer with something that they messed up! Not acceptable in a hospitality setting, or in any other. We won't be returning after 30 years of patronage.

Edit: no scene was made, all conversation was calm and apologetic except for the chef screaming at the front of house staff. If the owner was present maybe he would have any idea about what...
