KFC Canadian — Restaurant in Canadian

This KFC has the worst customer service we have ever come across . We ordered over $100 worth of food for a primary school mentoring program graduation at Magpie Primary only to be told we had to wait 8 mins and the told to wait an extra 9mins .

We left to get to our school program as this was the last day for the kids who we have mentored and encouraged for the last 8 weeks only to find out when we get to the school that they forgot to put in 15 pieces of chicken .

My wife had to drive all the way back to get the chicken and no offer of a free drink etc for their mistake as they should always check that the whole order is correct before giving the food .

My wife said as she got the chicken the staff just laughed .

This is unacceptable they need to retrain their staff with people skills as well as a spirit of excellence .

If you are going to do a job do it properly if you don’t want to be there find another job

This is my "family feast" order form KFC yesterday.

Food missing (a third order of chips); chips heavily salted despite requesting no salt so, obvs not fresh (but def soggy ...);

chicken constantly reheated and thrown back into the fryer (also several times by the look and touch of it so should be called Fr-Fr-Fr-Fr-Fried chicken); the ten pieces of chicken - if you look at that image and at the 2 pieces in the middle - had 2 WING TIPS as 2 of the pieces (!!!!) so, good luck to whomever gets that on their plate;

ultimately ended up having to throw together beans on toast 🤷

Anyway, got in touch with doordash and guess what they said? "Tough shit, no refund; have a nice day". So, here I am, trying to organise a refund ...

So now I have to go through all this palaver of posting customer dissatisfaction reviews and getting in touch with consumer affairs and vic health but,...

I cannot begin to describe how excellent the service was from this restaurant's crew. I am hosting for some family that has come from overseas and not accustomed to the local customs. It's difficult enough to cater for a family of 10 let alone everyone's trying to get what they want but wants to order through you 😅

We were here at a quiet time, but regardless of that the team here split into 2 registers and patiently explained the different offers that could help everyone get what they want. The crew was very kind and were making a real effort to make my family feel welcome, I was very thankful that they gave this experience to my family.

It may be a tucked away KFC, but KFC Canadian deserves to be at the heart of Ballarat. Kudos to tonight's team, the names I managed to remember: Declan Tyler Cody Jacob Fraiser Suzie
