An unforgettable experience with Michael and the team at Aussie Coffee Roasters. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, passion, and a deep love for coffee. Michael guided us through a beautifully curated cupping session, not just tasting but storytelling—taking us across different coffee-growing regions and explaining how altitude, climate, and soil shape the bean’s character. He broke down the nuances of processing methods—washed, natural, honey—and how each one influences flavor, aroma, and body. It was like a masterclass wrapped in hospitality.

The Ethiopian coffee experience was a standout—rich, aromatic, and steeped in tradition.

And the food? Next-level. I was treated to one of the best vegan meals I’ve ever had—the teff flour sandwich was a revelation. Earthy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, it elevated the whole experience beyond just coffee.

Insanely slow. Extremely slow order dispatch. Ordered coffee beans online 20th Feb and finally received my order 18th March.

No communication regarding any unexpected delay. On tracking apparently 28 Feb order was "ready for Sendle". Emailed to enquired 7/3 got a respond "Yes your order has been picked up from us and its on your way." We had gone through two bags of coffee beans we purchased elsewhere already while waiting.

Edit - the store owner contacted me and offered full refund although I didn't take the offer - not wanting money to change any of my review. They did have some excuse with family member being sick etc, however it is ultimately still their responsibility to either stop taking orders or to entire the order is being handled by other staff. I have changed my overall review to a 3 reflect that they did try to resolve the issue by offering a refund, although it was after my review...

Amazing find in an out of the way place! Best coffee I've had in Australia because not only do they roast a special blend of Ethiopian beans themselves they also train their baristas properly & I've never seen a barista keep her machine so clean!❤

In fact They will train anyone because They have a barista a school as well! So anyone can learn about the history/origin of coffee as well as the different bean types and how to make all the fancy drinks in a proper way. ☕
