Service is quick and foods are not too bad actually. Place is a bit squeezy. Price wise, a little bit expensive on average compared to other Chinese restaurants. However, what really let this place down is how they charge their customers.

Other places would simply allow customers to pay by EFTPOS without additional fee if they spend above a minimum amount, which makes sense. This place ridiculously charges fee if you use EFTPOS at any amount. They also charge fee for using visa or master card at any amount.

Had they not charged their customers with fees for paying by cards, I would have given them at least 3 stars. However, the good experience with the service and food has been ruined by the bad experience in making the payment.

There is no excuse for charging customers for using EFTPOS or credit cards, especially when they spend more than $60 in their place. This is pathetic policy. There are many other chinese/asian restaurants with better food and service around Perth. It is your decision if you want to be ripped off by unfair fees for paying by card. However, for me, convenient in paying is part of the whole dine in experience. For that reason I am not coming back to this place. I will bring my business somewhere else better where I am treated like...

Recently dined at Bamboo due to supposed good ratings, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Firstly, despite being told that certain tables were reserved, it became apparent throughout our entire dinner that these tables remained unoccupied. We were initially denied a table we wanted, only to find ourselves squeezed into a cramped space that hindered our dining experience.

Food-The nasi lemak curry chicken dish was a major letdown. The meat/curry portion of it consisted of a measly chicken wing and two minuscule pieces of potatoes, leaving us feeling underwhelmed and overcharged. The lack of substantial ingredients, coupled with the high price, made it difficult to justify the value. Additionally, I found it disappointing that the restaurant did not offer complimentary water, unlike many other establishments. Right, this place is ok for its food. There is a huge list on the menu which can be good and bad. Good side is you obviously have a wide variety to choose from, bad side is usually they are masters of none.. which is what happened here. The food, don't get me wrong is good, BUT it is not exceptional. With restaurants like Taurus next to it, it's hard competition. The prawn noodle soup tasted quite authentic but the toppings felt a bit of a let down. With only half boiled egg, you understand that the egg have not been cooked fresh for your dish, it really made no sense apart from trying to maximise profit, to have only half an egg.
