We were glad they still serve dim sum for dinner, as they didnt have much to offer possibly just after the initial Covid lockdown. Seating with the cafe style cubicles in some sections is good for social distancing. Everything is clean. At the entrance the waitress was a little stressed in asking how many we were before directing us to the QR code; a bit snappy which made me wonder what the rest of the evening was going to be like. We were later served by another girl and a more mature lady who were lovely. The stressed waitress' tone changed later so all made for a pleasant evening. When my son broke the teapot lid, they quickly swept up without much ado and the tea quickly refilled with new lid so he wasnt too embarrassed as to spoil his experience. Very thoughtful. The food was so delightful that I forgot to snap pics till the end!!! The other pic was taken by my son so no close-up pics which is not my usual paparazzi style. The best dish was the fishballs. They were huge AND made fresh. Oooohhh! You bite into them and there isn't the usual plasticky pop or msg-laden flavour. It's so fresh it melts in your mouth. Sorry, no pic. Burp! The beefballs are likewise made fresh but we didn't order that and will do!! The chicken feet was tasty and we could have drunk the sauce! All the steamed dishes were so fresh, prawns generous portions and sizes. Condiments were readily served without having to beg for them as customary in some restaurants. Waitress was intuitive when my son was too shy to ask for fork and spoon. Some places roll their eyes at this basic request and happily forget till he has semi-learnt how to use chopsticks! :) This should be a 4.5 star with the half star due to small amount of msg added. Despite that, it wasn't overwhelming and I didn't leave thirsty though I have a slight headache this morning. It's great they were honest when I asked and really, I don't think they need to add any as the quality of the freshness in the dishes should carry the flavours through. A most delightful experience! Will be baaaaccckkkk!!!!!

I corrected my review based on my second visit. They cater for vegetarian....But not today the 1701/21. Not crowded...But the food they delivers to the table is terrible as compared to the first visit, and the portion is half of what we get the first time. The amount charged is horrendous, I asked the cashier, she said that I should have told them that the portion is different. According to her, it's standard portion size. The vegetarian vermicelli with bean sprouts and soy sauce, came with no bean sprouts. I order the deep fried sticky dough twice, and they didn't bring it. People who come to this restaurant, check your bill... I don't think they charge accordingly. Have a look at the pics and compare it yourself. It's a disappointment. If I can take out the one star rating, I would. I will not be returning.

HAD DINNER HERE FOR THE FIRST TIME WITH OUR COUSIN EXCELLENT FOOD & SERVICE. CONSIDERING THIS RESTUARANT WERE SHORT STAFFED, THEY DID MARVELLOUSLY TO SERVE THE MANY FAMISHED DINERS. THE SERVERS WERE VERY GRACIOUS WITH US & WE ARE GRATEFUL. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Back again. Really like it tonight. It was quiet and peaceful. We had 4 assortments of steamed prawn with other filling. That was nice. The sweet and sour pork was a Lil sweet but that's ok we'll take it home and break it down with water LOL. But the Brisket clay pot was Delish. Really want to know what that spice was. The gravy was 😋 LOL I 4got to take pictures of other dishes ...too late...all gone. Healthy and Happy eating All 🥘🥗🥠🧋🧉

3/7 dinner again, staff with good service but not the operating system.

Only been given a menu for short time then staff asked for it for other tables.(Discourage customers to read longer or might order more later )

No full tray of dimsum trolley come to table around the place as they only put two staff on the floor .(No menu for table already, menu with limited items and most of the items unavailable while asked .No trolley walk around)

Can I please suggest the business here ? 1.Your selling point is for Yum Cha ,if Rice Roll(腸粉),Fry dough (油炸鬼),Egg tart ,Fry Yam all not available for dinner session. What dinning experience you would like your customers to receive. 2.If you want cut cost for staff ,how about just put menu items paper on each table for customers to click the box then pass to staff to make the order.Save time for staff ,no need to share the menu for other table.

Been went there for yum cha few times , mostly at dinner sessions, first time went there for brunch .

Only 2 of us with a toddler. We were guided to be seated at the left side rather than normally we could sit at the booth on our preferences.

Selective tables focus in the service. Around us full tables with medium/large group (4- 10ppl) but they were with foods on the tables and in the half way eating.Except for one dim sum trolley came to our table twice , a middle age Asian lady with light dim sum dishes was very rude and never approached our table .She only approached the big group with most western faces (Gwei lo ) even we were the first table of that area she passed thru.Very disrespectful .I'm working in hospo industry and never treated customers with pre-assessment of the bill sales. This is SHAME. I had to call one of the server ordered the items straight as my toddler was a bit hungry and unsettled.

Food quality was went downhill. Food such as The pork ribs definitely changed the grade of the meat , before it was tasty and even the part of the soften bones can be eaten.Today one the bones was unbreakable and the meat was too loose after used too much baking soda.

Probably won't be returning if the atmosphere very unwelcoming and not treated customers in equal and fair way in...

The service was good but the boss lady was a bit intimidating, when we were just seated she said you want fried food, “look fried food” you want fried food, “look fried food” you want fried food, “look fried food” yes she said it three times. (It reminded me of that movie DUDE WERE’S MY CAR)

We were seated in front of the counter, it felt like someone was watching us eating the whole time but they had really good service our tea was filled up at least 6 times or maybe even more. We order prawn dumplings, BBQ steam buns, chicken feet, prawn rolls and squid tentacles: Prawn dumplings were really good and very fresh 10/10

BBQ steam buns, I personally liked the bun it was nice and fluffy but the filling inside wasn’t my favourite it was dark brown and low fat shredded pork but it did have a sweet taste. I prefer red coloured fatty pork chunks. 7/10

Prawn rolls were very fresh and tasty, seafood is very unforgiving you can notice any off taste these prawn rolls were extremely fresh and they had drizzle warm soy mixed with sesame seed oil. 10/10

Chicken feet my son loved them but they weren’t for me I don’t like the ginger flavour, I like them with a stronger umami black soy bean taste. 6/10

Squid tentacles I liked them but my wife though they were thought and rubbery, compared to other yum cha places they are big and thick tentacles, I reckon they were nicely seasoned and not to chewie for me. 8/10

Overall I would recommend it, it’s the second best yum cha I’ve been to in Perth. The new moon was the best in Perth about 1 year ago but new moon in 2016 has a funky barn yard taste with most of...
