If you're in Casino, you should check this place out. There isn't a better cafe in the town. Service is extremely friendly, helpful, attentive, and fast. The steak sandwich with the works was delicious from the crusty bread, through the delicious BBQ sauce and everything on it. The steak was juicy and tender, and FINALLY a cafe that actually cuts off the outer gristely fatty bit that's not pleasant on a steak sandwich and serves you an ample serving of edible steak. The steak sandwich is also delicious. They cater for Coeliacs with tasty food alternatives, apart from chips as they don't have a dedicated gluten-free deep fried, but happily advise this. The bacon and egg pie is sensational, having no pastry crust, but the rashers of bacon form the shell. What a perfect renovation for a tired old pub. We had a lazy Saturday breakfast with a nice coffee,served by congenial staff. The Big Breakfast was cooked properly by someone that knows how to treat food. My son had the children's bacon and eggs followed by a beautiful chocolate milkshake,once again served by friendly staff. This place is great. Reservation is easy if you like the lower tables. No hassles. Has a delicious selection of cool and hot drinks.
