During the week I decided to order takeaway rather than dine in at my regular places. I waited about 20 mins when it wasn't busy at all. The Pork Fried Rice was terrible. Big chunks of pork which were very tough. Fried Rice was terrible. Big blobs all stuck together. Then the Mongolian Beef, the beef was very tough, I left it, there were big chunks of zucchini and onion not cooked well. Then the big slabs of cabbage the size of the palm of my hand. We had a very dismal experience. We went to the restaurant to have a sit down meal but the smell of cooking oil put us off so we ordered takeaways. We were served by a 9 year old girl who told us there was a 30 minute wait. A man later came out to ask us what we had ordered. Did they lose the order? After 45 minutes wait with no food and no explanation for the unacceptable delay we told them that we were cancelling the order and left. Fortunately we had not paid at that stage. Booked a table for 4 people over the phone but when we arrived, the place was packed and our table had been given away (we were a couple of minutes early). They did setup a table outside on the footpath (in winter, end of June) and it was around 12 degrees, bloody cold. COVID restriction mean't we couldn't wait inside for a table.
