Clare Bake house — Restaurant in Clare

Have just re-discovered this wonderful bakery/cafe. Although now locals, we have avoided The Clare Bakehouse as it had been poorly run in the past. All that changed for us this afternoon.....We had the best oat-milk banana milkshake, carrot cake and hand- made iced coffee ever. The food and drinks were absolutely excellent. The very best thing about our visit today though, would have to be the staff! Tom and Tash are absolute treasures and these two people alone, will be the reason we intend to keep coming back. Wonderful manners and first class customer service. A real pleasure to meet such lovely people behind the counter. Keep up the good work you guys. Your kindness and your great personalities are very much loved and...

we had taken a travel Auction to stay in the C/ van pk from th we got a discount voucher for the bakery so i thought we would take this up well i wish i hadn't the young girl who served me was so rude i even said to her to smile i had a cafe myself if she worked for me she would not have been pn the till/counter she was an absolute turnoff made me feel guilty for coming into the shop she needs to realise it's us the customers thst's paying her wage the day b4 we went to the Clare bakery we went to the Blyth Bakery they r both owned by the same people well the sevice @ Clare is nothing like Blythevery...

Ordered 2 X pies and 2 X coffees. Coffee was good. Curry pie was good. The second pie was labled Lamb Shank. There were plenty of vegetables in it. Couldn't find anything resembling meat in it. I pointed this out to the young bloke that works there. He looked, and said that he'd change it. He brought me another of the same labling that he had opened for inspection. It was very similar to the first one, except that between us we did find a couple of tiny meat like pieces. I believe that it should be relabeled as " vegetables with a touch of lamb" ....but the wife did like the curry pie...
