Ay-Jays Cafe on Marshall Street, Cobar is along the main drag on the Barrier Highway. Easy to spot, adjacent to Subway. A really great and unassuming place to have a hearty breakfast, energising lunch or just a nice cup of cappuccino, iced caramel latte, tasty milk shake or just about anything that takes your fancy! Really nice staff, friendly and enthusiastic and professional service with good quality food on offer. Plenty of spaces to sit from the outside area to comfortable seating inside that goes long and deep for privacy and comfort. Great Takeaways on offer and a delivery service available to locals at reasonable rates, only available from 10am-2pm, Monday to Fridays. Ay-Jays Cafe is closed on weekends, but opened from Monday to Friday from 5am - 8pm! Highly recommended for a feed if you are passing through or even a local, check it out and enjoy the food and atmosphere there!

Food was alright but speed could be improved. Took about 35 minutes to get lunch when we were the only ones sitting in the shop and we didn’t really order anything too complicated. Food was overall good and price a bit pricey. Big breakfast was really salty. Enjoyed the steak sandwich much more than the big breakfast. This was the only decent cafe we found in town.

Service was really bad. We were there at 8.30am, and not too busy. However our food took over 45mins to arrive. We had to ask a number of times. Then when it did arrive it was pretty disappointing. The avo on the Turkish was pretty mushy and the toast wasnt toasted. The poached egg was wet and not done in a saucepan. Sorry guys

Called in around 8.30am Tuesday 19th March and ordered two coffees to take with us. One other couple there eating. Young girl serving took our order as another couple came in after us and the young girl serving started up a chat with them. Young girl serving disappeared out the back and after 15 minutes I asked someone cleaning dishes about our coffee. Young girl serving ran in saying she had forgotten about our order for coffees after I enquired. Maybe too busy chatting earlier. I got my money back and went up the road and bought very...

Absolutely delightful experience with the team here! On Anzac Day, as I was biking and camping nearby, I ordered their pizza, the only item available due to the public holiday. They went above and beyond, ensuring it was packed in manageable portions, wrapped meticulously in non-greasy paper and foil, perfectly fitting into my backpack. And let me tell you, the pizza itself was outstanding! Massive thanks to the team for their kindness and...
