There is a Chinese restaurant on the premises. Generous portions and very old fashioned way of Chinese cooking. Same sauce used for the beef vegetables and the chili pork dish. The only difference was the added chili and the meat, of course. We ordered Green Curry Chicken as well. It was very sticky and had the same vegetable as the other two dishes. No curry, only green, some coconut. The boiled rice was very pleasing, though, and we appreciate the efforts given within the limitations of supply to Cobar. The restaurant was quite full. Friendly staff! Overall, I appreciate the efforts, but the dishes are well below par and certainly overpriced. However, few adjustments in the use of the vegetables and the sauces it could improve the served food significantly.

Popped in here for dinner on a Sunday night as dining options in Cobar on Sundays are limited - dinner was $20 across the menu whatever you had - for my wife just a modest amount - 3 lamb chops & enough mash for a family! And then my massive bit of Barramundi arrived - wasn't bad for $20 either! Oh and the Mudgee Charddy was pretty decent at $19.50/bottle! Let's support the club & buy a $10 raffle ticket! And we WON! Didn't want a meat tray, so opted for the brilliant "25 cobar quids" which MUST be spent in town, so our petrol fill up in the morning will be lighter on our credit card! Highly recommended!

What a delicious meal. Ordered Goong Sam Ross (king prawn with chilli, pepper and ginger) and salt and pepper calamari. Restaurant was quite busy but our meals came out relatively quickly. Both were quite spicy and left the lips tingling, but not too spicy that it was not enjoyable. Definitely recommend eating here. Empty plates say it all

Lovely staff, but the food wasn't great especially for the price 😲 over $100 for a family + drinks. The drinks were great price during happy hour. One of the most expensive meals on our month long holiday. I was extremely ill the following day. It may have had a large amount of MSG being so so very salty in all meals and rice and I can't handle large amounts of it. Or there had been quite an extended period over 40°C so something may not have been stored at the correct temperature there or in transit. I seeked medical attention and required anti vomit wafers and gastro stop tablets. I felt bad for them because they were lovely people. I'd be tempted to return when passing next time and stick to the bar side. It did have a great atmosphere, great drink specials and lovely staff. It was a pity about the...
