La Bomb Cookies & Gelato — Restaurant in Cottesloe

A tiny place within a small array of stores & restaurants on Station St, Floreat.

My son saw this place on Tik Tok & had been asking me to take him there for a few weeks.

Store front itself is tiny, selling desserts, mainly in store cooked New York style cookies & bomb brownies with various flavours, mix & match combinations. They are usually served warm & with added ice cream if you wish as add ons.

My son loved his, especially the first few mouthfuls s he ordered his with added salted caramel ice cream- however it was so very sweet he couldn’t even finish half. I ordered a warm Ferrero cookie & also found it to be way too sweet to my liking.

Cookies themselves were nice, thick, crunchy bits but were chunky, chewy in some parts & gooey.

For the most part maybe OK to try, but I personally would not go again as most of their offerings are just way too sweet & rich to our liking.

In addition, prices are rather high, both of our orders came to almost $27, especially for items we both couldn’t finish.

Extremely delicious. I had the chocolate chip cookie skillet. Absolutely delicious and it was big enough to last me two days (half one day half the other). My partner has the rollo cookie skillet and he thought it was 'very good'. I also bought the nyc cookie box of four for my family ($28)

Double choc cookie - delicious, amazing, super nice chocolate flavour. It is a thick cookie and the middle part was gooey like cookie dough (which I personally prefer) but can be cooked in the oven/air fryer to make it more solid/cookie-like (what my father preferred).

Birthday cake cookie - also beautiful. Chunks of white chocolate throughout and the cookie does actually taste similar to cake batter. Really good.

Pistachio and white chocolate - wow amazing. Has a pistachio cream in the centre with white chocolate throughout, really good cookie.

S'mores cookie - personal favourite. It has a regular choc chip cookie base with melted marshmallow on top. I highly recommend trying this one, an elevated chocolate chip cookie.

Overall, the quality of the cookies were exceptional- tasty, well textured, sweet (but oddly not overly sweet for me), and they re-heated beautifully in the air fryer. We went here yesterday at 3pm spent $70 on ordering a selection of different items as we had seen on instagram...... The guy was not accommodating at all, he was actually really rude we felt he didnt really want to serve us and couldn't be bothered in telling us about the different flavours and what was inside them. When we were asking about what was inside the different items he engorged my sister like 3 times so i asked and he was so rude about it, he has no customer service skills, he could of been more skilled in telling us about the different items and we probably would have brought one of everything because we hadn't been before and we drove over a hour just to come and try the different items. The customer service was horrendous and woful...
