Highly recommend easy 5 stars! If you are into ultra modern deco/design cafe then go elsewhere, it’s not needed here!! Behind the non-typical styling of a cafe, this beauty of a business has amazing staff who are so pleasant, upbeat and of course with great service provided my family with an awesome experience. The menu was just amazing (the slow cooked lamb was especially amazing as agreed by my daughter’s partner and I am sure my wife and daughter will say the same for their orders!!!!) but all other menu items sounded so delicious I wanted to try them all! Our compliments to the chef! Coffee was amazing even for my crazy strong taste! The food was prepared with care and did not wait long!! No trip to the Margaret River region will be complete without taking lunch at Smithereens. What was originally an on spec visit turned into a highlight of our long weekend. So much so that we had lunch on consecutive days at this unassuming cafe. An absolute highlight is the fish pie with herb and battered chips. Without doubt, one of the best pies l have ever eaten. Wow, the food here was AMAZING!! My partner and I had mushroom dishes (stuffed mushroom, and mushrooms on toast with bacon and poached eggs) and they were so SO good. Best breakfast we've had in ages and we are cafe frequenting snobs lol. The kids had the crepes and they were great. The fresh juices were also beautiful, and staff lovely.
