Upon viewing all the glowing reviews about this restaurant, we decided to test it out and looking back, it undoubtedly met those expectations. The owners and servers were all cordial and helped us with our selections. We made two of our curries, goat madras and chicken saag, and then ordered a Kashmiri chicken and plain and cheese garlic naan. While the portions may be considered small, the curries were all very fulfilling and the amount of meat was reasonable. The goat was tender and off-the-bone complementing the sharp, coconut taste of the madras. I also liked tasting the sweetness of the Kashmiri alongside the light bitterness of the saag. The naan, which was more crispy than puffy, was not to our tastes but we enjoyed scooping the curry with it. For dessert, the gulab jamun was splendid with the crunchy batter being delightfully warm and airy inside along with an enlivening, sweet syrup. The owner was extremely kind in giving us an extra gulab jamun to serve three even though we assured him that we were alright with just two. The presentation of all of the dishes was high class, reflecting the elegant yet casual setting of the restaurant. I believe the authenticity, passion and love of Indian cuisine pour through here and wraps its arms around every customer that walks in. It is truly magnificent.

Visiting from Sydney during canola blooming sesson and so thankful to find this gem! Can easily rate them a full 5 stars. Food was amazing. The mango lassi was very concentrated with real blended mango that I could taste the mild sourness which was really nice. Butter chicken was decent and my kids enjoyed it with the plain rice. Complimentary garlic naan was rare as most Indian restaurants only offer complimentary papadum. The garlic naan was so delish my kids didn't want to share with me, lol. Goat curry was spot on, just like the authentic Indian taste, that meant it was REALLY SPICY 🔥. Be warned if you can't take very spicy food, just ask for the mild or medium hot version. I have a very high tolerance for spicy food and I felt somewhat challenged but the kick was ironically awesome. Palak paneer was full of cottage cheese, so good! Staffs were super friendly, always made us feel comfortable throughout the whole meal. Lovely team! 100% recommend this restaurant!

Went here based on the reviews and wasn't disappointed, I'm glad I pre-booked as the place was packed on a Saturday night. I also asked for a table away from the door as the takeaway trade was humming and it was a bit breezy. Service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. We went with a couple of our favourites which were Butter Chicken and Lamb Korma. The Butter Chicken was sweet and flavourful, in the Aussie style rich and creamy and only mildly spiced - it was so good I could have kept eating it for days. The Lamb Korma sourced from local lamb was tender and full of flavour, spiced just right for our palates and both serves had plenty of meat. Accompaniments were some rice and a deliciously cheesy garlic naan bread which was one of the best I have had as it was full of cheese and garlic and left my fingers in a mess but my tummy in heaven.

I don't normally do reviews but this place is worth it. Tonight we ate at the Masala Library for the third time in five months. This place is consistently tantalising. Absolutely delicious Indian food. We found this place by chance five months ago on a roadtrip out west for our daughters basketball. We have intentionally stayed in Cowra two more times since just so we could go here for dinner... It is that good! Caters well for gluten free and vegetarian. We have primarily eaten vegetarian dishes and have enjoyed them immensely - so many different yummy flavours. The Taj Mahal fish is absolutely mouth watering. Apart from the delectable food the owners are welcoming and beautiful. On our first visit our son was only a couple of months old and one of the owners pushed him in his pram up and down the restaurant so we could eat our meal! So thoughtful and welcomed. What more could you ask for?! Well worth a visit if in Cowra. Highly recommend. We are already looking forward to...
