Cafe Ruze — Restaurant in Cowra

Stopped in here just prior to 2pm, only because other cafes closed at 2pm, this one open till 3pm. 1x large latte, 1x mocha - no special requirements, but it all seemed a chore for the staff. Zero customer service attitude - surly young teen brought one mug to the table, dumped it down and turned around without a word or a smile. Waited a while, then we asked about second coffee. No response, but it arrived later in the same manner as the first. We had planned to purchase extra cold drinks from the fridge to takeaway, but took our business elsewhere instead. Maybe the staff were having a bad day, but unfortunately based on this experience I cannot...

We ordered the avocado with baby spinach & lemon on sourdough. We had a hard time finding the avocado and the bread wasn’t sourdough just normal white bread. I think they may have only had one avocado which was split between both plates. We ate there two days due to not much on offer in the area. First day it was like everything was an effort for some of the staff. Coffee was like dish water with not substance. There was another couple in the cafe at the same time who had issues with gluten free diet request. Such a shame as we prefer to support local cafes rather than the likes of MacDonald’s when we...

I ordered the vegetarian breakfast advertised as having eggs, spinach, hash brown, tomato, mushrooms on sourdough toast. Unfortunately there was no sourdough toast, just white sandwich sliced bread, and there was no mushrooms. When I saw the bread was not sourdough and asked about this, I was advised they don't do sourdough. It would have been good to know this prior to ordering, I would not have ordered this meal. There was no explanation about the missing mushrooms either. I was very disappointed, this was false...
