Is this cafe beautiful and aesthetic 100% are the food and drinks amazing 70% The food is what you would expect from a standard cafe nothing crazy special or out of the ordinary just a decent breakfast, the main reason we decided to come to this cafe on our one-day stay in Canberra from Melbourne was due to the strawberry Matcha videos I have been seeing on TikTok, I really hope it is just my experience but as a matcha lover I found it to be very very powdery, it was at the point where you take a sip and your mouth is still just coated with the matcha of powder after letting my drink sit for five minutes while eating you could literally see the powder half separate away from the milk and the strawberry which I haven’t experienced before at other place! I understand that sometimes things like this can happen so it’s completely fine. Was just a little bit disappointed after seeing all of the hype on TikTok! Overall though it’s a very pretty place to eat if I was in the area again I would probably go back but just be mindful not everything is as it...

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend!

We had a truly unpleasant experience at this café. From the moment we arrived, the staff—particularly the person managing the tables—displayed a complete lack of customer service. He was abrupt, unfriendly, and clearly lacking the people skills necessary for a customer-facing role.

We noticed an empty table for four and politely asked if we could be seated there, only to be told we had to wait 10 minutes due to a supposed queue. We ended up waiting over 15 minutes, and to our surprise, nobody occupied that table the entire time. Eventually, we were seated there, but the attitude we received throughout left a very sour taste.

Unfortunately, the food did not redeem the experience—it was poorly presented and tasted awful. The eggs were raw and the Rosti was tasteless and hard. It honestly felt like no care had gone into it at all.

Canberra has many wonderful cafés that value their customers and serve quality food—this is not one of them. Save your money and...

Seating: I visited last week with my dog and sat outside. Some of the outside seats are right below the vents, so strong warm air could be blowing in your face and you will need to choose seats carefully. The outside seats are not exactly by the road, which is a plus, although it is by a parking lot. The inside seating environment looked really nice and cozy.

Parking: There is parking in nearby residential streets, and also some in the building parking lot, but those were all full. There was also Wilson parking in the building, I believe.

Food: The strawberry matcha was good, but a little overpriced as mine cost $9.70 after changing it to lactose free milk. The pre made deli sandwich was surprisingly delicious! I had the mushroom melt. The dirty eggs were yummy but kind of small portion and the beans didn't really go well, but to be fair, I...
