Don't usually write food reviews, but after being ripped off by overpriced franchises ( looking at you CB), I can happily say these guys are an absolute try. Prices are really affordable by Canberra standards, and the portions are plentiful. Club sandwich is a must try. Best place imo to come for brunch and comfort food.

A Fyshwick classic for takeaway and eat-in. These guys have been running the place for a long time doing sandwiches, burgers, takeaway food, but also have some Vietnamese specials like the beef noodle soup, crispy chicken rice and bread rolls. Great value for when you want something quick and easy to fill up.

Was in the area for a car repair and saw Jenny's. We wouldn't have thought it was a Vietnamese restaurant at first (or a cafe with a Vietnamese theme) but were pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious and had this homemade quality to it. Cafe/resto was simple and homey. Best of all the people there were just as accomodating and friendly. A pleasant find in an area that's industrial. Maybe the next repair won't be so...

I've been really happy with the quality of the food at Jenny's Central Snack bar. It's one of the best places to get a fairly low calorie sandwich and I'm fond of the Coffee there too.

The staff make you feel welcome and have been happy to make changes to orders when I've requested it.

I think it's a bit cold inside sometimes in the winter, so am taking off a...

Dropped in for breakfast and a snack after visiting the motorcycle shop. Good coffee, fresh and tasty ban mi Vietnamese pork roll for takeaway lunch , and a huge good value cooked breakfast and coffee for just $10.
