ONA Coffee House is a good place to get your coffee and breakfast (or brunch) while you're at Fyshwick. Serving their very own ONA coffee, trust that it will be served well.

Good thing to mention is how good their French Toast is—the best French Toast we've had so far! The toast itself doesn't seem it was cooked the traditional way (i.e. toast soaked in egg and milk, etc.), but it seems like the process went from baking the raw materials and turning it into such a masterpiece. We love the a balance of the sweetness of the toast, the strawberry ice cream and Oreo crumbs around it, plus the seasonal fruits that came with it. Simply awesome!

We've also tried their Eggs Benedict which is also good (as we are big Eggs Benedict chasers for brunches).

One thing to note about the restaurant is that it gets really busy and that there's a chance that the food will be served around 40 minutes (noticeable as well that there is a queue outside the establishment). We appreciate the lady who came over to our table (assume it is the manager of the restaurant) when she apologise for what happened and made amendments to our order.

Overall, it's something good to try out if you're up for some brekky...

Nice food, nice coffee, but no cash accepted? My phone was in repairs and there was no other way for me to pay the bill, except cash, which is why I took money out prior to bringing to repair. It's legal tender and there was no obvious signs on the shop front, in the menu or verbal warning from the staff that cash is not accepted. It can't be to do with COVID, as there's no other COVID measures taken, like social distancing, mask-wearing etc.

It took 20 minutes to get a mate to drop by to pay for it, as there was no forgiveness or flexibility or from the staff. It was embarrassing sitting there like a chump with my 7 year old son with an unpaid bill. Surely not accepting cash is marginalising and even perhaps discrimination to those who prefer to pay with cash, e.g. the older generation?

A response with a legitimate reason to why cash is not accepted, as the staff could not provide any answer, except that was the store policy, would be much appreciated and I will take down the review, and if no adequate reason can be provided, please consider changing the store policy to accept cash and again I will take down the review. Thank you and look forward to...

Loved it, I'm not a coffee drinker, but many in the family are. They have a great menu that worked for food intolerance issues I have.

A wide selection of teas, and cold drinks.

Plus such a variety of coffees their staff arevwilling to dis uss with the information experience menu /folde4 of selections.

Was brilliant watching staff help each oerson find a coffee that will more that delight. & even offered suggestions on which selection in their range would match what that person wanted for at home and at work. If you cannot get there at least you can order their range and have it at home. I had heard the also might be doing training so the home coffee and workplace coffee run will be something everyone can learn.

I learned a lot about making good quality teas in my 20s..... this company does teas brilliantly and even has a non coffee drinker thinking I might find one of their 2 a I could enjoy. Som3thing for our next visit.

It was a pleasure enjoying my herbal tea and watching friends and family enjoy the food, coffees and comfortable space to...

To me no coffee in Canberra (and perhaps Australia) matches the quality that ONA offers. I've been buying their beans for years now and everytime delivers a delicious cup of coffee. I always enjoy the food at the Cafe which is worth mention it is the actual roastery and you can walk in to see the coffee roasters and enjoy a serious top grade cup of coffee. There is a wide range of coffee and price. From your usual average priced flatwhite or cappuccino, to a special reserve pour over or espresso that is worth paying the price for a special occasion which will change the way you appreciate coffee. I promise you that. Also, the staff is so passionate about their coffee that if you ask, they will run you through what you should expect on the aroma and tasting notes of your coffee. They also have Barista courses to teach you make your own cafe grade coffee at home! Give it a try. You won't regret it.
