Prior to writing this review I sent two emails to the business, with attached photos of the food and received no response. I am a repeat customer of many years and have always been happy with home delivery and when I have come to the shop to place an order. I have brought visitors from overseas and also friends from Canberra to the Halal Pide House.
Last Saturday, I ordered home delivery, the order was placed at 6:48 p.m. and was not delivered until 8:48 p.m. Estimated delivery time was 7:32 p.m. when the order was placed. When it arrived, the contents of two of the dips had spilled out all over the other containers (photos attached and also sent to the business). The rest of the food was cold, some was barely warm, but on the whole it was cold. The meat in the Halal Snack Pack (HSP) was cold, dry and hard, like it had been sitting for a long time. The Pide was nice when re-heated, but it was cold when it arrived. This was a $135 order, so a whole lot of cold food covered in spilt dips.
Particularly disappointing as I called the business twice, once 50 minutes after the estimated delivery time and again 75 minutes after the estimated delivery time, they did say they would call the driver, but there was no apology for the long, long delay. As I said, no apology and no response to a polite email I sent showing how the food was spilled and also explaining how late the delivery was.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am feeling sad while writing the review on the restaurant that I loved the most. Unfortunately, the owner of the restaurant doesn't have any ethics to deal with his customers. The food no doubt here is AWESOME, but the last two experience we had in this place is very bad. On Monday the 9th March we went to this place for lunch and ordered two dishes from main section, its not been informed to us that they don't have meat ready and it will take more than usual to get our food. After 30 mins of wait we inquire about our food and its been told to us it will be on our table shortly. After another 15 mins when we asked again the owner started getting angry on us and instead of being apologetic he threw our money on our face. (Not Acceptable).
I know he doesn't care about the customer feedback as his place is famous and it won't affect his business if we wont return back. I am associated with food and customer service industry for last 8 years and what I have learnt is that each and every customer is important to your business regardless of how much he is spending.
Definitely not returning back and owner had to change his attitude...

Do you think that is acceptable. There was heaps of spinach in my pide but no potatoes as I requested and veggies were gone after you saw my note on my order! I made that note you should not loose money by putting extra potatoes in my pide but you guys disappointed. More than half of my pide was in bin straight away because you guys wonāt refund or re deliver because according to you pide was fine with potatoes you put in that! Never gonna order again and this review isnāt to defame your shop but to warn other customers! I wish I could upload some photos of the pide from the bin for you!
