AM Cakes and coffee — Restaurant in District of Gungahlin

A nice little cafe in Harrison, serving a selection of Asian style cakes and pastries.

I bought a few to taste: Portuguese tart Salted caramel cotton tart Basque cheese cake

What I really liked about them was that they weren’t overly sweet. The staff mentioned that the Portuguese tarts are baked daily and onsite. I was lucky enough to get a fresh batch. Though, I think my favourite is still from Yumcha CBD.

The cotton cake was my favourite, the cake was super soft and fluffy, the cream was light and paired really well with the salted caramel. I’d buy it again!

The only reason I only gave it three stars was because they didn’t have the full selection of desserts as seen on their Instagram page. Might’ve been the time I visited, so I’ll definitely make a trip back to see if I can try other items.

If it’s your first time visiting, the Cafe is a bit hidden and out of sight, especially if you’re driving by. The shop is just below all the apartment buildings and there are plenty of street parking around the area. Sometimes, you may have to park a bit further away, but it’s still in...

Am cake’s stuff members doing a great job They’re coffee is great , cakes are good ( you get what you pay for) Read some reviews downstairs is just so silly ,some people complain about is expensive, some people complain about taste bad and some people complain about environment is bad . Look, they’re a small business $6 for a large coffee with that taste is good enough ( if you feel is not your taste you can turn around and don’t come again)

For those complaining about environment and expensive for the food, I can tell you this is not the place for you.

Came here to purchase a last minute small cake.

There was nothing suitable for my needs on display as I had arrived quite early in the moning. However after explaining what I needed, the lovely lady I spoke to went to the back to check what was nearly ready and showed me this watermelon and lychee cake which would be ready in 10 minutes.

The cake was indeed ready in time. She asked me if this was for a birthday and when I said yes, included a candle as well.

Lovely customer service and the cake was beautiful and delicious and enjoyed by the recipient.

Will be back for sure to try other...
