I'm a Sri Lankan and can't recommend this enough. Generous portions which are great value for money, all this for under $50. Worth a drive, even from Southside. Dining in is also an option, it's relaxed, bright and clean. The fit out is simple.

Wattalappam: Had some holes in it instead of silky texture. I appreciated the crust and cashews on top. Good amount of sweetness.

Chicken fried rice: Decent. It's Sri Lankan version rather than Chinese version. No soy sauce.

Beef kothu: Tender pieces of beef. I re cooked it in a pan so I could really mix the curry and kothu together, as well get a char on it, like a BBQ. Chefs kiss 💋.

String hoppers: Haven't tasted yet but they look...

I don’t usually have curries when going out. Some friends introduced me to this little place and now I’m hooked.

If you are vegetarian or vegan, there are lots of options as well. The lentil curry and roti are one of the best in town. The biryani is flavoursome, perfectly cooked with aromatic rice, cashews crispy papadum. The hoppers is an interesting take of crispy pancakes - but there are limited quantity for dinners only. Kottu roti is a stir-fried dish with veggies and soft “noodles” made by shredded roti.

The staff are attentive and nice. They are very accommodative with any special requests. The place is cosy and clean. Keep up the...

The restaurant is located in a residential area and has car space (visitor) car park.

It’s a small l, cute, ambiance and hence the name ‘little lanka’!

You are greeted with the biggest smile of the day from the sweet little women at the counter in the restaurant.

Food is just fabulous! Must try their Roti and dip and the chicken roll for starters.

They even modified the falooda according to my boyfriend’s instructions (which is very rare)

The people serving the food are also so sweet, you can literally see how Sri Lankans are just through these people at the restaurant.

Affordable, tasty food and the best service in...

This is the first Sri Lankan restaurants in Canberra I have tried, I don't have any other Sri Lankan restaurants to compare to. The garlic prawn dish for entree was delicious but I wished there was a main for that. The Beef Kottu Roti is quite filling especially because there is a high content of beef. The stir fry noodles with chickpeas and tofu is OK without being fantastic. I liked the entre but the two mains weren't as good as I hoped. Regards @fooderarri
