Black & White Espresso In Lanyon — Restaurant in District of Tuggeranong

2023 review: easily the worst service in Tuggeranong that I have experienced, the service staff are good but the male barista is horrendous. I entered at 1500hrs with a close time of 1600hrs to order 5 coffees. The lady who served was fine, but the barista was visually annoyed that we were there ordering coffees, he rolled his eyes, grunted, and abruptly went about making arguably the worst coffee I have ever tasted (I binned it) then as people were leaving he ignored their gestures and thanks. I thought, “his coffee must be great if he can’t get away with being this rude” boy was I wrong. Won’t return while he is there.

Original review: Fantastic coffee, spectacular food (I had the pork belly eggs Benny) great shop fit out and vibe all wrapped up nicely with great customer service. If you’re in need they have the biggest coffee I’ve ever seen!!!

My partner and I just came in for our usual Saturday morning breakfast and were absolutely pleased as always. Great coffee (and I'm a barista so I should hopefully know), and stunning menu. This weekend is a father's day special, with an amazing selection of 2 new dishes just for the occasion. I highly recommend the pork belly Benny... A perfect blend of flavours with fresh apple to complement a well spiced pork and a delicious Chipotle hollandaise sauce coating the dish. The sweet potato and fennel moose was excellent pairing.
