The food at Subway is generally good, but I had a disappointing experience today. I saw the staff take the plastic cover off the ham, place it on the tuna container, then put it back on the ham. This means the cover touched both the ham and tuna, which raises concerns for anyone avoiding pork products. Even though tuna is usually considered safe, this kind of cross-contact means it may contain traces of ham.
