Donnybrook Bakery — Restaurant in Donnybrook

We visited at 12.30 today to be met by being out of stock of pies and sausage rolls. We were advised it would be 5mins for a new batch to come out which we were happy to wait for. The pies came out within this time frame but we were so shocked to see the lady putting the pies into the warmer with no gloves on. She was using one hand with the tongs and the other bare hand to support the hot food. I had all the hope in the world that her hands were clean.... and then it happened.... she used her bare hand to scratch and wipe her nose before picking up the next pie.... she did this about 3 times. My heart sunk because I was so hungry and so looking forward to a delicious pie but it was so unsanitary. I ended up getting a sandwich. I just hope my sandwich wasn't made by the same...

Bought a beef pie at 6pm on Friday 20/12/19, Girl serving was nice enough, the Owner wasn't all that polite but that's life.....

Pie pastry was so thick, hard & stiff as a board.... The meat was inside if you could break into it.... The pie was so Hot no wonder it was that hard like a biscuit.....

Please turn your oven storage temp down or throw your pies away after their quality has expired, ie: (lunch time heated pies).

Great staff, great selection of food items.... This bakery will actually go out of their way to make a sandwich for you, whereas some others wont after a certain time. Tim, you and the girls make brilliant cappuccino's! We always stop here on our way down south from Karratha or on the way back! Well done to all the staff. Keep up the fantastic attitude and great...
