We had two disappointing experiences with this restaurant. The first time, we ordered Dal Makhni for takeaway but received yellow lentils instead, only discovering the substitution upon returning home. When we contacted the restaurant, they admitted to running out of Dal Makhni and substituting without informing us at pickup.
Despite this, we decided to give them a second chance and ordered Biryani, which was promised to be ready in 45 minutes. However, we waited for around 20-30 minutes beyond the promised time f 8:04 pm (as the app was also showing that food was ready), totaling around 1 hour and 15 minutes. (Sharing the photo - whereas pick up time was much later) When we expressed our frustration, the owner was dismissive and told us not to order from them again, in front of other customers. After leaving so sad and disappointed with our takeaway, we found the Biryani was overcooked. Overall, we experienced poor service, lack of communication, and subpar food quality. We won’t be returning.
Individuals like the owner contribute to the negative perceptions associated with people from the South Asia subcontinent.
Reply to the response below: While the owner has misrepresented facts in her response, I invite her to provide video proof (while keeping the face and other identities hidden) to support her claims.
During our first order, she explicitly stated that they had run out of Dal Makhni and that she had updated the app accordingly. However, the app itself confirmed that no such update was made from their end.
Furthermore, I would again request them to share video proof (while keeping the face and rest of the identity hidden - legally), as she aggressively told us not to order from them again while walking back to the kitchen.
At that time, I was politely explaining to a staff member that the app showed our order as “ready” and hence I am here since I had a family waiting for food. Instead of acknowledging the issue, the owner jumped into the conversation, showed no remorse, and has now completely ignored this aspect in her response.
This kind of dismissive and unprofessional behavior is disappointing. It’s not about stereotypes but about individual accountability—this is exactly the kind of attitude that affects perceptions towards South Asian and their businesses.
A professional and humble approach could have easily resolved the situation, but instead, the owner chose to deflect responsibility onto the customer rather than addressing the issue with honesty and gratitude. -ve stars honestly...

Had my baby’s 1st birthday at this restaurant today and it was the most amazing experience! From the moment I called to book, Jhanvi, the owner, was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the entire planning process seamless and stress-free.
The pricing was so reasonable, and for what we paid, we received an incredible spread—two kids’ items, four starters (two veg and two non-veg), five main course dishes with tandoori roti, garlic naan, rice, and even dessert. As a lovely complimentary touch, they also provided salad and raita! 😱
Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely DELICIOUS! My guests couldn’t stop raving about it. A huge shoutout to Ajit, the co-owner, for ensuring everything was perfect. The flavors, the quality, and the presentation were all top-notch.
What truly sets this place apart is the warmth and care of the owners. Jhanvi and Ajit are incredibly receptive to feedback, which took me by surprise. They genuinely care about their customers, making us feel like we were hosting a party at a dear friend’s restaurant rather than just a venue. At one point, Jhanvi was even worried that my decorator wouldn’t finish on time—such a personal touch that truly moved me.
I can’t recommend this place enough. Their hospitality, food, and service are unmatched. I will definitely be hosting all my kids’ birthday parties here and visiting the restaurant regularly.
If I could, I would give them 10 stars! ⭐️ Wishing Jhanvi and Ajit all the success—may their...
Read moreI don’t even know where to begin. Dining at Signature Lounge was like being trapped in a constant painful nightmare.
Service: Absolutely ridiculous. We waited 17 minutes just to be acknowledged by a server who looked genuinely surprised to see actual customers. Water came in chipped glasses, and asking for a simple napkin felt like we were negotiating a hostage release. The lady acts as if she is doing a favour to you by serving you.
Food: If I could give negative stars, I would. The waitress just argued about everything we asked for completely disregarding what was written in their own menu. The Rogan Josh and Chicken curry was laughably bad — rubbery meat drowned in a pool of something that tasted like expired gravy and regret in a pool of oil. The malai kofta was mushy, over-salted, and tasted like a gravy of raw onions blended together?
Ambience: No staff in the front, they kept gossiping in the kitchen, and the floor was sticky enough to take your shoe hostage. The table setting is ridiculous with one serviette and cheap cutlery with chipped glasses.
Honestly, I’ve had better experiences at petrol station diners at 2 a.m. Do yourself a favour and skip this disaster of a restaurant and go literally...
