Quality of the food really has gone deep extremely down! I was a regular here since 2021, which by then all the food and services were spot on.

Visited last on Sat, 21 Oct 2023 at around 8 pm. Ordered tandoori chicken loaded fries with extra jalapenos and mint sauce (total cost for the extras was $3).

The loaded fries was so down in quality! Before they used to put generous amount of their signature cheese sauce. But last night it was just a little drizzle.

Although generous with the chicken pieces, the flavour of that masala marinade has changed drastically from last time or may be it was a bit off. Over powered with cinnamon at the background taste, unlike the usual standard good more chatpatta taste and fragrance months ago.

Mint sauce was literally just few dots! And the extra paid jalapenos was a waste! There were only 4 slices of jalapenos on top of the dish! I know prices have increased everywhere due to inflation. But BE REASONABLE with the servings too. I paid $3 extras for reasonable extra sauce and jalapenos instead of just little dots of neon green coloured sauce with 4 slices of jalapenos.

The music was turned to the max until you could not even speak properly to the staffs or other people inside the tiny CLOSED door place! Do you want to damage people's hearing or what?! It was deliberately turned to the maximum volume once an old person left the premise for dine in. No wonder people waiting outside for orders had trouble knowing whether their names had been called from the cashier for pick up.

I recently visited Johnny's Burger and Kebabs and I have to say, I was really impressed.

The first thing that caught my attention was the amazing smell of the food.

I firstly decided to give the Bacon Loaded Fries a try and I was not disappointed. The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the bacon was delicious. The cheese was also amazing, it was creamy and had just the right amount of flavor. The portions were also very generous.

The Kebabs were also a real treat, the meat was juicy and tender, and the marinade was flavorful. The meat was cooked to perfection and the flavors were well balanced. The toppings were also fresh and well-balanced, and the garlic aioli was the perfect complement to the kebab.

The staff was also very friendly, they made me feel welcome and they were happy to answer any questions I had. The atmosphere was also great, casual and comfortable. However, the music was a bit loud at times, but the staff was kind enough to lower the volume when asked.

Overall, I had a great experience at Johnny's Burger and Kebabs and I would definitely go back again.

I've tried to give this place multiple chances, but the experience keeps getting worse. Every time my friends and I order a meat box — even when we use the PEGS app discount they advertise — it feels like we're being treated differently. The moment we mention we're paying through PEGS, the attitude at the counter completely changes, like we're somehow being inconvenient for using a deal they’re promoting themselves.

And let’s talk about the food. A meat box is supposed to be hot fries and hot meat — that’s literally the whole point. But what we got? Cold chips, cold meat, and zero effort. For $13, even after the discount, it’s honestly ridiculous. Yesterday’s box was just straight-up bad — tasteless, cold, and clearly slapped together without care.

It’s not just a one-off issue either. This has happened multiple times, and not just to me — all my friends have had the same experience. It’s consistently bad, and that’s saying something.

If you’re going to charge that much, at least serve hot food and treat customers with some basic courtesy, PEGS...
