Forbes Golf and Sportsmans Hotel — Restaurant in Forbes

Lovely family friendly pub/club. Don't have to sign in they have a golf course and they have a few squash courts here as well. A place outside for the kids to play & run around in safety - tables and chairs where the parents can sit & see them & actually watch/supervise their children from a close proximity AS THEY SHOULD!! Quite a varied, tasty looking menu for a small club, but I found the service to be quite slow. It took half an hour for them to get through the orders before me to cook me a salmon steak with salad and veggies. They seem to be plenty of staff in the kitchen working like mad but the fish was worth the wait!! Highly recommended. I think its the only decent place to eat...

As for the food, it was nothing short of amazing. There was a little bit delay in service but Each dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The scotch fillet was particularly outstanding—perfectly cooked with a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. The ingredients were fresh, and the seasoning was spot-on. Even the sides were elevated and complemented the main course wonderfully.
