SYLO — Restaurant in Forbes

I went to Sylo Friday evening in Forbes with friends and later a bite to eat. Of course residents of Forbes know the venue and ambience is 5 star. I really enjoyed my Mediterranean dish. The pizza was loaded with ingredients and looked delicious. I should have asked for a bite to give an informed assessment. I'll happily pay the extra dollar for a glass of wine to get away from the noise and IT surveillance of other venues. I am relatively sure our group will be back in various groupings and as individuals. I/we will support this lovely venue as starts to grow its new hospitality business. A positive shout out to Donnas Table which has also been a hospitality asset to the Forbes community...

Everyone in town raves about this place. They also have high reviews on Google. So I was excited to dine here. All I wanted was a nice Big Breakfast. The eggs came out burnt & tasted like charcoal. I asked for another egg. The staff serving me was lovely & eagerly obliged when I brought it to her attention. The replacement egg wasn’t burnt this time, but the 15 year old kids at McDonalds can fry a better egg. I think it’s one of the worse Big Breakfasts I’ve had. Bread was almost burnt, hash brown not well cooked, eggs burnt. How do you get eggs...

New to town, went here and everyone was looking at me saying nothing. I asked where can I order and the two behind the counter said here but just give me a minute as he was teaching a girl how to make coffee. So I walked around thinking why is no one here. Then he walked out to the kitchen and the girl just stood there. Clearly they didn't want my business so I walked away and went to the pub instead. Looks like a good place out front but no service. Will never be back!!! When there is no one in your store but you're too busy...
