Service was below average, we weren’t greeted with smiles, staff were absent from the counter most of the time and when we got our food it was horrible, eggs benedict was overcooked, chicken ceasar wrap was crunchy like it had been sitting in the kitchen for at least 2 days and the chai latte had burnt milk. It also didn’t help that the walls were bland where there wasn’t mould and half of the store was lit artificially while the other half tried to be overly natural, the chairs were uncomfortable and the tables rocked, the particular table we sat at had a large chunk of concrete missing in the wall and it looked like a great spider hole. Eggs Bennedict on english muffin & the Breakfast Bruschetta was really good. A great way to start the day. Chai Latte was yummy. Friendly staff, comfy relaxed atmosphere and a cute little play corner for toddlers. Bonus points for the adorable reading pause area with a selection of reading material for bookworms to enjoy. A lovely place for Au pairs or Moms to meet up and connect while little ones play. Or a nice venue for Book Clubs to meet. A cozy space that focuses on homestyle food. Stopped in here at around 4pm on my travels as I couldn’t find anywhere cooking at this time in town (that wasn’t a service station or crapdonalds), turns out they weren’t cooking hot food either however I got a chicken wrap which was freshly prepared, and it was huuuuuge, absolutely loaded with veggies and chicken, just what I needed!
