Shocking service today. Ordered 2 bacon and egg rolls takeaway and was served up ONE sandwich, (sliced bread not roll, even though told they could make a roll), cut in half in 2 bags and charged for TWO sandwiches. $43 with coffees, meaning each HALF, a sandwich cost approx $17!!!!!!
Buying for guests and so embarrassing....had to go supplement food with Subway for money.
Be careful if you choose to eat here. When we complained, the owner was nonplussed and told us not to come back.
Never again...as a 30-year local who supports locals, not this one anymore!

If you are the owner and not working today, then you were not there either to know what happened. Your staff member has told you his story to protect himself.
My husband was born and raised here in Australia and speaks with an accent. His English is very clear, and so we can only assume that your worker has made a judgement based on an accent and skin colour, who demonstrated no desire or intent to listen to his customer. If he felt the accent was difficult ( which it isn't) then he should endeavour to listen.
A sour dough was offered and accepted, yet not provided. How does one roll, cut in half make up 2 servings requested and paid for. Whenever one attends a cafe and orders a sandwich or roll, never are you served up in half of a sandwich/roll.
When my husband complained, there was NO offer to remake it, just to not come back! I asked questions of what exactly happened before writing a review on a local business ... did you before replying to a customer who will no longer recommend anyone eat or drink there?

She asked and was told yes. Obviously put off by this she mucked up the order. I thought a simple one. One chicken/ cheese/ tomato toasted sandwich and one ham/ cheese/ tomato/onion GF toasted sandwich. Plus two coffees. My sandwich came out with no cheese and chicken as well as ham. I took it back to get it fixed then got the same sandwich back. When I spoke to them again they were going to fix it. Instead I was handed my money and told I got what I ordered. Why would I order ham and chicken??? No cheese on a toasty??? The blonde with very short shorts was rude. I didn’t raise my voice at all but she did. The lady doing coffee was lovely and tried twice for my order. Not the first time but giving the coffee shop another go. Instead of a flow of creamy milky coffee (i.e. Flat White), I experienced a rapid flow of hot watery coffee. Having recently completed an 8 day barista couse at TAFE I can confidently say that my Flat White coffee today would have been rejected by my TAFE teacher as not up to standard.
