It doesn't matter how friendly and polite you the customer are, you can pretty well always count on probably the worst service and unfriendliest front-of-house person on the Gold Coast.

I've been going there on and off for many years, always to buy their takeaway Chicken Fried Rice, a meal in itself which used to be the best of this dish anywhere. So it was worth the other negatives. Last time I got it though, I didn't think it was as good as before.

Gave it one more try. Despite being noticed at the counter immediately, and with no-one else standing there, it was still 5 minutes until I was served. Ordered Chicken Fried Rice again. It took nearly 20 minutes to arrive at the counter, despite virtually nothing else coming out of the kitchen in all that time. Got it home, and found it was not Chicken Fried Rice at all. No idea what Fried Rice version, but not a speck of chicken in it. Didn't taste great either.

That's enough....

I haven’t visited this place in years due to previously terrible customer service. I thought things might have improved, especially with feedback from reviews, so I decided to give it another chance when my husband suggested it.
