As a regular and loyal customer of many years of Milanos, I was horrified by the treatment I received last night when trying to order a take away pizza. First up, 5 mis past opening time the gentleman answered the phone. "Could you hold on for a minute"?? "Yes... that's fine" I said. So...... waiting....waiting....waiting for 15 minutes before the phone cut out. I called back and told the lass what had happened then placed my order. She obviously wasn't paying attention and I had to repeat every aspect of my order. When I mentioned to the bloke that he'd left me in hanging in limbo he had the nerve to say,"well... I've been running up and down.... doing things"! The head lady came out and said, that will be $17. "Nooo.... the other lady just 5 mins ago told me $16". "You must have misheard", she said. "16 and 17 sound a lot alike!" Nooo! The young girl who took the order denied she said $16.... with a sheepish look on her face. Then the full rant started! "I'm sick of being ripped off by people"!!!!!!! $16 this time.... then finger in my face she says, "Well..... don't expect it at that price next time!!!"I pointed out that I am a LONG TIME customer and don't cheat people!!!!! Read moreBooked a few days ago to have my birthday celebration at Milanos and was very excited to be going out. I am a mature woman. I arrived and picked up 2 wine glasses as I have always done and always been been told to do at this restaurant as it is self serve. Got loudly abused for touching the wine glasses and not reading the sign don't touch the glasses by a young woman which I copped on the chin to be followed up by a second abuse the owner repeating why did you touch the wine glasses don't touch them. I told them I didn't see the sign and do you wan't me to put them back.They said your a guest in my house and you don't follow the rules. Hmmmmm they don't treat their guests very well.......Happy Birthday to me NOT. There is a right way and a wrong way to speak to people. To top it off the young woman said that is just the way the owner is justifying his abuse as I pushed back against being spoken to so badly only to be told by the woman you are discriminating against the owner for following up on my first abuse. I have been in business and love each and everyone of my customers. They have supported me financially. If there is a problem in my business I will always to the first to fix it and make sure they are ALWAYS happy. Read moreDon’t value repeat customers! I just rang to inform them I had a long black hair at the bottom of my pasta! Eventually got to speak to the manager and his attitude was that he didn’t have time to argue (after I calmly explained there was a black hair in my pasta). I told him I didn’t ring to argue. He tried to deny that it was possible. He said I had to drive back to prove the hair was there. And he asked what I wanted? I said I’ve been a customer for 4 years, there’s nothing particularly that I want but if that’s the attitude I get without an apology at least, I won’t come back. His answer was for us to never return. Very sad customer service.
The response from the owner was a complete joke and lie! Never mentioned a berry!?? Cannot believe the lies that came from this. Ive been buying the same pizza and ordering olives and an extra for 4 years! haha. So good luck to anyone who buys from these liars.
