Expert Kebabs Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I should have walked out when the bloke at the cash register told me that the Pide (Pee-day) was pronounced "Pie'd". The second warning sign was that none of the 4 people standing around in the store were Turkish. I'm guessing they were from the subcontinent somewhere. Nevertheless, I ordered 1 x chicken and 1 x lamb at $8 each. Bearing in mind, I had an expectation of what I wanted, having lived in Newcastle where you can get a delicious Turkish Pide on almost every corner of Hamilton. What I was given was served on those Turkish rolls you get at Woolies. They were soggy and limp and rubbery in the mouth, so I assume they were microwaved as well. The "lamb" was mince (if it was even lamb at all, I suspect minced beef), and there was zero capsicum, tomato, or onion; despite it being advertised with these ingredients. The chicken and mushroom seemed to be topped with something that came out of a blender, as I couldn't make out any individual chicken or mushroom pieces. just finished my kebab from this place, nothing to write home about. I've pretty much tried all the places within 10 - 15 minutes from here and this would have to be the worst. place looked a bit dirty, the lettuce was in terrible shape, looked like they just filled the try so it should have been fresh but looked far from it. i had to go look at the car park while they made my kebab. there were some bits of lettuce that if i saw them go in i would have not eaten it. $10 for a large that was not bigger than the $9 ones i get elsewhere. Ordered two Gozlemes from this venue - 1 x Chicken & Mushrooms, 1 x Spinach & Feta...

The S&F was very tasty, with equal ratio of spinach & the cheese.

However, the C&M was SHOCKING - WHERE was the meat..???? And pretty much zero mushrooms too... after having had 2 slices, and questioning which gozleme this actually was, I opened one slice up and discovered a pitiful teaspoon of the filling, dryly smeared on the inside of the dough...😱

I mean - SERIOUSLY..?!🤬?!

You get more meat & mushrooms in a small snack pack..! !
