March: We tried almost everything on the menu! Food arrived hot, full of presented well. Service was attentive and friendly. There was a drop in star due to not being able to give halfs, ordered a hot vindaloo but was mild however Would highly recommend and will be returning again with family soon.
June Update: Unfortunately I took my family here lastnight to celebrate my birthday. When arriving it was quiet, with only a few tables full. After 20 minutes of waiting, I had to ask staff at the bar to take our drink order. When ordering a cocktail and mocktail both girls working were unable to make these as Apparently, the owner was the only person able to make them - He was there. The food was good, vindaloo still not spicy though. The drink saga continued as they ran out of kingfisher beer half way through our meals, then at 830 we asked to order coffee, but due to the coffee machine being turned off and cleaned we were unable to have one. Needless to say after spending over 400 for 6 of us, it was a nice atmosphere to see family and were able to hold conversations however we will definitely think twice before...
Read moreIt was our anniversary, so me and my husband and I decided to dine at the best place, as we heard a lot about this place from a friend circle. We reached at sharp 8 pm today. We are extremely disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. We arrived at the time listed on Google, only to find that they had closed an hour earlier than expected, and on their website, it wasn'teven mentioned that bookings are necessary. To make matters worse, the receptionist and chef refused to serve us despite it being well within the hours posted online. This lack of professionalism and inconsistency with business hours is unacceptable. We won’t be returning, and We wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values their time. They offered to do take away, but that is also not appreciated when any business don't value time, whether it is a busy weekend or...
Read moreI ordered from this place last night on door dash. I don’t understand how this place has 5 star reviews because the food was terrible. I ordered a kadhai chicken that was soo oily that I had to take a spoon to scoop out the oil. The food doesn’t even taste like Indian food. I was born and bought up in india and I know this is not even close to Indian food. The taste was pathetic. After spending $40 on a curry, rice and roti, I was very disappointed in the quality of food. I didn’t want to waste the food and I tried to give it to my dog but the food was soo bad that even my dog wouldn’t eat it.
Krishh Indian restaurant on the Goldcoast is 100 times better than this the trash food served at kesari.
I’ll never be ordering from here Again. Save yourself the hassle and money and don’t eat at this place unless you enjoy eating...
