I recently had the pleasure of visiting McDonald's in Benowa, and I cannot express enough how impressed I was with the exceptional service provided by Alec Craig. From the moment I entered the restaurant, he went above and beyond to ensure that my visit was nothing short of extraordinary.

I can’t be bothered writing reviews, but tonight is the night that I will. I had previously ordered a burger with extra Big Mac sauce and I explicitly requested that the burger would be saucy and that I’m happy to pay whatever extra fee that is. I ended up with a tiny little dalop of sauce right at the centre; the equivalent of half a pump of soap in your palm when washing your hands. This has been the case the last 4 times I’ve been there. My cousin convinced me to go back since her burger was just the same. The manager explained to me that that is considered as extra sauce as it is 2 pumps. Wishing I took a photo. To be fair, she attempted to rectify this by taking the burger back and replacing it, however she did not really add that much sauce but I guess you get what you get and you don’t get upset. Just last night, my family and I stopped for the Grand Big Mac, same thing! At this point, we’re paying for extra sauce each time and not getting anything. To top it off, the patty was cold enough for you to be able to taste the curdled up grease. This burger made me so sick and I vow not to eat Maccas ever again. We tried the McDonald’s Ashmore a few times before and it was so much better than Benowa. I suggest it’s worth the extra 5 minute drive. Lucky I remembered to write this review. What reminded me was the McDonald’s Big Mac ad on channel 9 that just came up. It was oozing with sauce. False advertisement. I don't really like to say anything when I don't have anything nice to say but had to say something. I recently went there for lunch and both the service and food was terrible. It was a Wednesday afternoon maybe just after 2pm. Inside the restaurant were maybe 3 other customers waiting for there food. I ordered a simple big Mac meal with a fanta on the self serve kiosk inside. After about 15 honest minutes and having watched the staff literally only prioritising the customers in drive thru, I asked a woman next to me how long she had be waiting for her order. She said she had been waiting half n hour. The staff all very young by the way were swearing and laughing all Infront of us. The same lady I spoke to earlier then stepped forward to ask how much longer she had to wait and some kid who was working at the time, all of about 15 years old yells out to her " Look lady, were getting smashed on the drive thru, we'll get to you in a minute". She said she had be waiting for half an hour and that by now, the drive thru orders they were pumping out the window surely cannot have been ordered before hers. Not long after she finally did get her food to go. Meanwhile I'm still standing waiting for my big Mac chips and a drink and when I say I waited for half an hour also whilst watching these kids employed there, muck around swear and carry on the whole time I'm not joking. I know all Macca's aren't like this but definitely will not be...
