Unexpected Kindness & Seriously Good Pizza

After a long stretch of nonstop work and stress, I was just walking past this pizza place when I noticed they were in the middle of a photoshoot — snapping shots of some of the most mouthwatering pizzas I’ve seen in a while. I stopped to watch for a bit, and to my surprise, one of the staff members looked over, smiled, and offered me a whole pizza — completely free.

That one moment of generosity honestly flipped my whole day. I didn’t expect anything, and I definitely didn’t realize how much I needed that small act of kindness until it happened.

Now, let’s talk about the pizza — because it wasn’t just free, it was phenomenal. I got a wood-fired margherita with fresh basil, melted mozzarella, and a crust that was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Everything tasted fresh and balanced — not too salty, not too oily, just right. You could tell the dough was made with love, fermented properly, and cooked to perfection.

The place itself had a warm, welcoming vibe — not just in design, but in attitude. The staff were friendly, upbeat, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. That energy makes a big difference.

I’ll 100% be back — this time as a paying customer, maybe even bringing some friends. Experiences like this are rare, and they deserve to be recognized.

Took twice as long to make the pizza as he told me, shop was not busy so no excuse for the time taken. then when the pizza was made it was not what was ordered. Took it back and the guy at the counter just wanted to argue even after he admitted he understood the order properly, still got it wrong. I asked for a refund and he just argued. Terrible service which is a shame considering I was a regular customer with the former owners and their pizzas and service was great. Will not be returning

Just read the company’s reply and it is not factual. I was abrupt, yes, but not rude, there is a difference. There was no language, no offensive gestures. The shop was not busy, there was one customer waiting and one more turned up for a pickup 5 mins before I was given my order. I did not ‘slam’ the pizza on the counter and no offer of a remake was made. Considering how long I’d already waited that would not have been taken up. I refute their reply completely. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because we LOVED everything about this place! It was our first visit and they did not dissapoint. The ribs were to die for! Best we've ever had and my husband was guttered he'd only ordered half a rack not the whole one! The sauce was incredible and the meat fell off the bone 🤤 If you're looking for the best ribs on the coast this is the place you wanna go, trust me!! The Pizza was delicious (I'm so fussy!) We had Hawaiian with a BBQ swirl and I couldn't fault it. The staff were incredibly friendly, the space was clean and the food very reasonably priced for what you get! We will 100% be back and can't recommend this restaurant...
