Zarraffa's Coffee Oxenford — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

Tasty! Very happy customers. First time I haven't felt an iced mocha on almond milk was done "wrong", I had a jumbo with a shot of vanilla, was perfectly mixed beforehand I didn't have to do anything that is so helpful when drinking it on a road trip too. Zero mess! Not too much ice which is great. Hubby had mango smoothie and ham cheese croissant, happy with both. Appreciate that the paper bag packaging came with the little cardboard dish inside to assist with tidier in car dining. Super appreciate no cruddy straws! Our straws were perfect for the duration of the drinks unlike the disintegrating paper straws found elsewhere. The drive thru menu was super helpful with pictures and everything seemed laid out easy to see, I think you can look on the opposite side of the car for more of the menu maybe though which I wasn't aware of as only saw it once we had ordered. Not sure. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Could see there was a nice camaraderie which I'm finding is important in a lot of businesses it seems to affect the outcome of my reviews if the staff are happy. Our daughter loved her little hot chocolate with marshmallows done on oat milk which was handy to avoid the dairy tummyaches. I shared a smashed avo with feta (great price of $4.95 by the way) with my son and they twisted the paper bag so it wouldn't go everywhere which was a nice little thing to note. Could do with some cracked pepper on top but was otherwise tasty and not too zesty. We also had a brekky roll which was steaming hot and delicious. Price was $40 or so for the whole lot, 3 drinks and 3 food dishes. Not bad really but I should have gotten a receipt to work out the individual pricing better.

Wish we had a Zarraffas Drive-thru in Mackay between City gates and Walkerston, would be perfect for folks heading out to the mines to work as well as a mum like me who is so much happier with this iced mocha than the ones the big M spits out (which aside from Stellarossa half hour away, these are the only options for drive thru coffee in Mackay!).......

When I entered the DINE-IN section of the cafe, no-one asked if I was dining in or taking away and no-one checked my vaccine passport. When I placed my order, I needed to ask the staff member who served me to put on her mask. While I was waiting for my order, I noticed that NOT ONE staff member was wearing their mask correctly. Every single staff member wore their mask under their nose, mouth or chin and they were chatting and interacting closely with each other and customers. I asked to speak to the manager and informed him that none of his staff, including himself, were wearing masks, he said he would tell them - then walked off and resumed what he was doing. I waited and watched for some time but he did nothing. Every customer who entered the store, while I was there, QR coded in and wore masks. Mandates are there to keep people safe! It's unacceptable that Zarraffa's staff don't comply with the mandates or care about their customer's health...

I just wanted to highlight an experience with your team at Oxenford Zaraffas this morning. After ordering initially at the drive thru where my drink order was confirmed three times by two different staff, the drink I ordered was made incorrectly twice and finally resolved the third time it was remade in-store.

Through all three interactions with staff, the three baristas at the machine were distracted and talking amongst themselves to a point that negatively impacted their work. None of the baristas were paying enough attention to their orders and it would not be surprising if there were other errors occurring in their work. My order was corrected, and I appreciate that, but in the future these kind of errors could lead to major allergies for other customers, which I don’t believe your team currently has enough...
