Cascades Restaurant — Restaurant in Goulburn

To say we were disappointed is a monumental understatement. We were told our meals would be an hour wait as the 2 chefs were busy with room service orders and the locals dining in the restaurant had to wait School holidays would dictate extra staff one would think but no waiting in line to order drinks .. waiting in line to order food. No table service and placing a kids play room beside the ‘formal dining ‘ and I use that term loosely where the soccer balls kept being kicked under our table was the last straw. The decor and the front reception and dining areas have an identity crisis . Trying too hard to cater for everything and therefore missing the mark completely. I cancelled my reservation for 10 people today as I fear things would be just as bad today . Ambiance - 0 Functionality- 0 Can’t rate the food as we left and went...

The restaurant looks grate and inviting However i was bitterly disappointed with the timing of service

We arrived late travelling down to the snow and needed a over night stop 745 into the restaurant with 3 young kids, We Order quick and then waited … no warning about how long the food would be.. 9.30 to be served food The restaurant was less than half full

For a business that I would assume mostly caters for passing traveler’s you need to pay attention to all the services you provide The accommodation was great But your restaurant was terrible And after all the time we waited the food wasn’t that great

We had our work Christmas party /lunch at the Cascade Restaurant Goulburn again today for the fourth year in a row and it was once again an exceptional experience.

The food was amazing with a great menu to choose from. Everyone at the table commented on how the food there never disappoints.

The staff were very friendly and attentive.

I don't usually make an effort to post reviews online but felt compelled today to express my gratitude for a great day today at this restaurant.
