I had a special delight visiting a charming little breakfast spot located between Sydney and Canberra. Though small, the cafe offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfectly situated as an ideal rest stop for travelers navigating between these two cities. Opting to sit outside, I was able to bask in the morning light, enjoying the tranquil beauty that Australia has to offer. The staff were exceptionally attentive, not just to human guests but to our furry companions as well, providing a bowl of water for our dog and making it feel just as welcomed.
The food here is not just delicious, but a form of art. Each dish is prepared with care, combining exquisite flavors with beautiful presentation, allowing guests to appreciate the effort and creativity behind each meal. Whether it’s the classic Australian breakfast or the cafe’s signature dishes, every bite is memorable.
What impressed me most was the staff's dedication to ensuring every guest, including our four-legged friends, felt at home. This breakfast spot is a must-visit for anyone traveling between Sydney and Canberra, looking for a comfortable place to rest and recharge with some truly...
Read moreNice food. Everything was great. Good flavour, nice and hot. I perhaps imagined that the dumplings would be a little more food than it was, but I was satisfied after having entree first. The sauce was beautiful and they had good flavour. Quality meals all round.
Milk options available for coffees etc. including almond milk and lactose free.
Good atmosphere. The brick wall could perhaps be dressed up a bit and perhaps music on. It's quite an open layout and my preference is a cosy nook, but it was pleasant enough. The gold cutlery and coasters add a bit of a luxury. Everything was clean.
Friendly service. Glasses set up at tables and chilled water was brought out to us when we sat. Food was brought out promptly. They forgot to bring extra plates as requested for sharing but we managed. Wait staff seemed very happy to be there which added to the experience.
There could be more range on the dessert menu than two items.
I've heard breakfast here is nothing particularly special - just as per expectations, but friends had raved about the dinners so I had to come and see for myself. I recommend trying this place out for yourself to see...
Read morefamily and I booked and went there for mothers day lunch today and the experience was less than desired.
we ordered meals and an entrée we waited a good hour and a half and still never got our orders while other members of our family at the table were getting there mains before we even got our entrée.
We waited another good half hour, family members were finishing up their meals and still no entrée or main for myself or my wife. I got up and kindly requested my money back as we have been waiting for 2 hours and not even our entrée has come out.
Once I requested my money back and the waitress on duty spoke to the manger both my wife and my main's were miraculously ready still no entrée however. we ended up getting our entrée after we got our main.
I said it was disappointing that I had to request my money back just to receive our meals and they said they would see about fixing us up with a voucher for the not so great experience. However we were informed that no voucher would be supplied.
personally in future I will be sticking with the more reliable local establishments here in town and probably will not be back...
