First time going here as I was highly recommended to try this place on numerous occasions.

Finally decided to try it out and came here for breakfast on Saturday morning (27/07). We sat in a highly visual area (in front of the counter outside) and ordered very simple meals with standard hot coffees.

On the 25 minutes mark, we were wondering where the drinks were as that's usually a sign that the food was on its way. We thought we'd wait, and see if they would come soon - which they didn't.

On the 40+ minute mark, we still hadn't gotten anything and noticed 4 different tables were coming and going as we were waiting.

I had to flag down a waitress and to tell her that we have been waiting 40+ minutes and haven't gotten anything yet. She apologised and said she would go check.

About 20 minutes later our drinks finally came from a different waitress. One drink was cold, bitter and mostly froth, and the other one was piping hot. Their excuse "sorry about the wait".

Then the food came 5 minutes later and this waitress' excuse was: "so sorry about the wait, we had a problem with the printer and the order didn't print". What a terrible excuse. I doubt the rest of the customers had the same excuse as they were able to come and go and get 5/5 service.

Why could you serve everyone else except us? Looks like you forgot about us, and it's not like we were tucked behind the back where no one with eyes could see us lol.

We were sitting right in front of the counter and no one asked us if we got our meals yet, not even the drinks.

Food was small portioned, and bread was tough and cold. Food/1x drink was probably reheated in the handy microwave lol. Food wasn't worth the over an hour wait. We would've gotten faster service at maccas and our food would've been fresher and worth my money.

Really not impressed with this place, won't be returning or recommending to anyone. 0/5 service and a stupid excuse given when you actually FORGOT about customers who were sitting right in front of you, not the printer.

TERRIBLE...

I recently visited Blue Infusion to try their acai bowl, but it was an incredibly disappointing experience. First off, customers were vaping at the table next to me, which is clearly against regulations and went completely unnoticed by staff.

As for the acai bowl, it was an absolute rip-off at $16.50. For that price, you’d expect a well-put-together bowl with house-made granola, strawberries, sliced banana, sliced kiwifruit etc—fruit that’s actually edible and belongs in an acai bowl. Instead, I received whole orange slices with the skin still on (completely inedible), whole passionfruits (skin included), sour apple chunks in uneven pieces, soggy watermelon, and mushy grapes and strawberries with the whole stem still attached. The combination of ingredients felt careless and lazy, completely missing the mark.

Staff clearly need to be retrained on how to properly make an acai bowl. If you have a flag waving out the front of the store advertising “acai soft serve,” customers expect an actual acai bowl—not random fruit with the skin still on thrown into a bowl with some acai slapped on top. It’s misleading and sets a false expectation for customers.

This was the WORST acai bowl I’ve ever had, and the entire experience left me frustrated and disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for...

I have lived in north lakes for 15 years. I awaited a good breakfast and coffee shop. When blue infusion arrived i quickly became a weekly customer. I have many good memories of the well cooked eggs, sour dough and coffee. Olga the owner especially made us feel so welcome. It is with regret that the past 2 months ive come here 3 times, every time ive come not only has my really basic order of fried eggs on toast been brought out burnt, with the wrong made eggs as well as wrong coffee. Today my partner and i celebrated our anniversary and as a treat i wanted to bring her to what i vouched as the best breakfast in the world- only for us to wait 56 minutes for coffee and breakfast for 2 people; watching people who came in 25 minutes after us get their food before us. The place was only about 30% to capacity, so no excuse was given or offered. Once again when our food arrived it was burnt and the wrong order. The staff were unreceptive and showed little to no care that we were time poor to sit and wait. I will not return after 3 $60 orders incorrectly delivered. Im so...

Roomy with plenty of options for sitting. Looks to be child-friendly and the service was friendly. In saying that - the coffee was very weak with no body or flavour and what was supposed to be sourdough, was definitely not, or some very bad imitation of it. The toast was very dry and crumbly, disappointing (and perhaps even insulting) - Insulting, because, going by other pics in the reviews, I feel as though we were given the imitation sourdough bread, because older folks won’t know the difference. Bacon, poached eggs, hash browns were fine, but Coffee Club could pull it off better. Dry, (supposed Sourdough) toast is the one thing that will always, always, deter me from ever going back to a cafe. Please don’t have sourdough on your menu board, if you don’t have the real thing. It’s insulting to your customers and embarrassing for your business. We know the real deal, because we make sourdough bread ourselves…the real thing!

Nice place. Lovely and green with lots of plants outside. Good being a pet friendly cafe as we had our cat in her crate and didn't want to leave her in the car. Service was friendly. Drinks - special order coffee thickshake was lovely and creamy. Thick and tasty. Latte was good. Iced coffee was ok. Pity about the tinned cream. But it was a good size and cold. Food - Eggs bene with salmon was good, except the eggs were hard. Loved the amount of hollandaise sauce. Certainly didn't leave me wanting. Acai bowl was very tasty. Deliciously creamy and a perfect portion size. Eggs on toast with a side of sausage - presentation of sausages was interesting, nice though. Toast was underdone, was more like bread. Egg was cooked nicely. Parking was on the street but very close to the seating. All in all, a lovely breakfast at a reasonable price.
