Coffee in Cylinder's — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

It’s a coffee cart next to the beach / campground. It opens at 6:30 on weekends and is great for when you’re camping.

There seems to be a bit of commentary on other reviews around service and the gentleman who runs it… the service could be slightly better however it’s pretty standard for a coffee / cafe wait time so probably isn’t worth the level of worry it’s gotten.

You can tell they get busy and like any retail business out there that can add stress I’m sure to their day to day.

Let’s all remember we are at Stradbroke and enjoy the Redlands as Brisbane...

Waited 23 minutes for a coffee, wasn’t busy at all with 5 staff working. Thought they were running on beach time but turns out they were putting the local orders first. Went up to ask if my order had been forgotten about, all staff just turned around looking at me with a blank look on their face and one of them picked up a coffee and says “is this you yours”, no apology, no smiles, no bother about facilitating holiday goers on the island. Coffee was very average definitely not worth the wait, aside from that, location is nice just next...

We loved the locale pop up cafe for a takeaway coffee whilst staying at Cylinder Beach campsite. We all had almond milk or soy milk - perfect temperature, warm for the kids hot choc & all very considerate. Covid conscious with details yet felt calm and ‘normal’ - a tricky balance but they succeeded.
