Frenchmans Beach — Attraction in Queensland

A beautiful secluded beach at Point Lookout. Only accessible down a walkway from Mooloomba Road or via a walk around the beaches from Deadmans or Cylinder Beach. It's not patrolled by life-savers and the conditions don't make it idea for surf swimming but it's great for just paddling in the shallows. It's never been a great place for fishing but you are still likely to get some bream or whiting from the naturally forming gutters. One of the best beaches on the island! Lengthy stairs down to the beach from the cliff top, but well worth the walk. Fairly quiet when we visited, with only a handful of people on the beach.
