I went here for dinner last night with my family. I have tried many Chinese restaurants on the peninsula and surrounds and have been extremely disappointed of the disgusting quality. I was skeptical about trying another place as I haven't found anywhere decent. Well I was pleasantly surprised! The food and service in this place is amazing! The sweet and sour pork was so delish, no fat in the meat covered in the perfect amount of batter, same went with the honey chicken. The fried rice is superb and The dim sims and spring rolls are perfect. I also requested no added msg which was no issue for the chef and the food was top quality with very large size meals. The takeaway side of things got very busy with a very constant flow of orders which I can see why. Even with how busy it got the lovely lady who owns it went above and beyond to continue to be of fantastic service. This will be our new go to place for Chinese now as it has definitely won me over! Read moreThe one star is just a courtesy. I walked in and fought my way through a few people who, as it turns out, were waiting to collect their phone orders. A promising sign for a new visitor when there are a heap of keen and eager people waiting to be fed!
Alas, my anticipation was short lived. I waited... and waited... and waited with a menu in my hand at the counter. I witnessed 2 chaps collect their phone orders. I watched a host take another phone order. I watched a senior employee, possibly an owner, confirm an order with a waiting customer. I also watched my step on the way out after feeling 10 minutes was long enough to wait at a counter without anyone making eye contact with me or acknowledging my presence. And no, I am not the type of person to create a scene and demand attention.

While the decore gives you the feeling of being in your 98 year old great aunt Meredith's kitchen, the food is outstanding, and doesn't leave you with that all to familiar greased up full feeling. It's a simple place, where they use good service and great food to show that not all good restaurants need to be fancy to deliver, that what makes a restaurant great is customer service...
