Rib Witch — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

Ordering online was a very slow process for us as the payment card step was ‘spinning’ for so long that we rang the store to order. The first 3 calls rang out unanswered and on the fourth attempt a person with a heavy foreign accent answered on a very crackling static affected line and whilst I responded to his request to talk louder he continued to speak very faintly (later at the store we observed his headset mouth piece well away from his mouth which probably explained the poor communication). We were handed a bag which was partly stapled close and headed back home to eat. The order was missing the coleslaw salad and the can of soft drink. We rang back and again 3 calls went unanswered and again the accent of the person and the crackling static line made explaining our missing items difficult. We are new local residents and are enthusiastically looking for local food outlets to return to as regular customers- it is very unlikely to be RibWitch as service matters. Husband found his burger sloppy with pineapple juice and beetroot juice running down his wrists to the elbows. My pork ribs were as hoped for. Because of the bad reception I am unsure if any compensation for the incomplete order will be forthcoming. Check your orders before...

Not what I was expecting based off the reviews and pictures (added for comparison) from their website. If you like old school fish n chip shop style burgers then you won’t mind the what they serve here. but with such high prices I’d certainly expect a much higher quality of food both in ingredients, flavour and presentation. The burger itself was very greasy and looked like a frozen patty which was then thrown together with a few other ingredients from the bottom of the fridge. The slaw was terrible and at $5 extortionate. My partner said the ribs he had were ok. The sweet potato fry’s which were placed beneath the ribs were soggy and overcooked. The kitchen equipment and facade looked quite dirty. Definitely won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend. Definitely not a 4.6 out of 5 experience. Order: Pork Ribs(honey soy)with Medium Chips + Mac'n cheese Review: The ribs were tiny and tasted gross the meat had a strange taste to it like plastic the sauce was horrid and the "HOMEMADE" mac'n cheese tasted like week old food prep and they just threw it in the microwave to get it ready this isnt a resturant that serves quality food this is a slap it together and chuck it in the face kinda place, the only saving grace was the chips i guess cause that was the only FRESH thing cooked... what a shame i really wanted to experience some quality fresh cooked local ribs...
