Flinders Food and Coffee — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

Came here with my client today for some lunch and we absolutely loved the food! My client thoroughly enjoyed her croissant and banana bread and I can't get over how soft the burger bun was, not to mention how juicy the chicken was and amazing coating- almost like karaage! Customer service was perfect, I initially wanted an item that was unfortunately unavailable and the staff serving me tried their absolute hardest to find a work around- which i appreciate! Staff saw I was struggling to open the door and immediately came to assist so i could move my clients wheelchair. Again, greatly appreciate the hospitality! Coconut & Mango bread toasted with butter sounded great. Caramel Latte to go as well. Service was great. Bread was disappointing and bland. Butter turned out to be Miracle margarine (on the counter with no lid). If it is NOT butter, don't try and con the customer. Served in a bag with not even a serviette or paper plate. Plus that it was piping hot. Coffee was over $6! Too hot to drink without cooling first. Honestly, lacked a great taste I expected from that price range coffee. The piece de resistance, however, was the big guy in the kitchen blowing his nose on paper towel. Surely you could have stepped out of a food prep area? So glad I didn't order anything needing...

In an area full of cafe’s this one truely stands out. We purchased two of the bacon and egg roll and coffee deals and they did not disappoint.

Coffee was beautiful and the food quality and portion size was generous. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating, down to the point of them asking us how we like our eggs cooked for the roll.

All round great cafe, decent pricing, spacious outdoor eating area and wonderful staff.
