Frontier Coffee House — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

For me, the really special thing about breakfast here was the service. The food was good, but it wasn't great. What was great was the friendly service and the efficiency of the staff. Meals were fresh and yummy, but they were just lacking that little "WOW" factor. We had...Eggs Benedict and Avo Smash (with fried eggs). Menu is a little limited, but they try hard with what space and facilities they have. Nice place to visit in the warmer months, could be a little cool in the colder months as most of the tables are outside and inside space is at a premium. Would I recommend it?... Yeah, give it a go. Would I rave about the service and friendliness of the staff?... I think I have so far and I will continue to do so. Was I impressed with the food?...It was "good", here's hoping you get...

We are not from around here and googled a local cafe and this was the closest. What an absolute gem of a cafe! Staff were friendly, warm and welcoming. Coffee arrived and certainly hit the spot! We shared eggs Benedict with salmon and I mentioned that we would be sharing. When the food arrived they had plated onto two plates! That’s so lovely and an extra effort which we really appreciated. So very delicious with balsamic reduction and a yummy dukka sprinkle! Salmon was tasty and all the ingredients were of a good quality! I have been here a couple of times now and they have run out of food. Last time we went they said they had run out of maple syrup, I went to the grocery next door and had to buy our own, Today the three staff watched my family and I come and sit down, get menus, clear our own table, then once we had decided on our order the 2 girls just ignored me at the counter untill a young guy finally came and told me they were not doing food because they ran out. Could have told us when we got there, but anyway that was the last time we are giving it a chance, no food and bad customer service isn't...
