I recently booked here for a group of 13 for brunch. I understand they’re a small business and appreciate them trying to accommodate such a big group. Unfortunately the service was very poor. A staff member delivered a coffee within our order to a separate gentlemen who had only been waiting 5-10mins (this coffee order was the completely missed). We waited an 1hr 40mins for the last meal to be served. Coffees took an hour. When asked about meals that we were still waiting upon, they said the kitchen was busy, they’re coming sooo (3 staff members at this time I noted were talking and looking at their phones at the counter). Super unprofessional and not a good look knowing they’re so behind. The food itself was good, despite the 15-20mis intervals in which it was served. This place should also have a stricter uniform. The revealing shorts...

Initially I was really excited to come down and try out SPR, but unfortunately myself and my mum were left waiting for almost 25 minutes for our food and drinks. We were unaware until my mum had to go up to ask if our food was on the way , that the reason we were waiting so long is the printer died and didn’t print out the order. Very understandable as I have worked in hospitality but let down that we weren’t checked on or even had our table cleaned to ask if we were waiting on anything. The Girls were super lovely but just quite disappointed. I understand weekends are busy time especially as I used to be a barista and it’s a bit crazy that no one checked on us during that time. Sorry to give such a low review but watching everyone else’s QR orders going through fine but ours didn’t , really should be looked into...

Hidden in the carpark next to Super Cheap is this amazing little cafe that is well worth seeking out. There is a great selection of fresh choices to tempt even the fussiest of eater's. The food is presented well and tastes as good as it looks. Service is friendly and efficient...and you can order at the counter or from the table. Even though you are only a stone's throw away from the road and one of the major intersections in Capalaba, the area seems quiet and private, courtesy of some well kept gardens and hedges. And... Did I mention how yummy and fresh the meals were??? I did???? Well ... I guess they were that good that they deserved a second mention. Treat yourself... I'm glad I did. Absolutely love this place! The staff at Scissor Paper Rock Cafe are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive—they make effort with my young son Harvey, it makes his day to see the girls. The service is always quick and upbeat, which adds to the relaxed, cozy vibe of the café. Now let’s talk about the Big Boi Bagel—hands down one of the best bagels I’ve ever had. Perfectly toasted, generously filled, and packed with flavor. It’s hearty, satisfying, and definitely lives up to its name. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a chilled morning, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Great service & food. Probably my only complaint, if I had one, was not being asked my preference to how I wanted my egg cooked on my bagel. Large selection of bagels to suit most people. I tried the breakfast bagel which had great flavours, but my preference is not runny egg. Service from staff was friendly & helpful. Plenty of parking onsite, although it is part of a larger shopping sector, so it does share parking with neighbouring businesses. If you like bagels, definitely worth a drop in.
