McDonald's — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

Whether you like Macca's or not, you always know what you are gonna get. I have had big macs in about 10 different countries and they are always EXACTLY the same. That's what I like about Macca's. Well, that and the friendly staff, the incredible speed at which they get my food in my hands, (I am talking about drive thru's as I rarely go inside anymore), and the accuracy of the orders. It must be more than 10 years since there was a mistake in my order. As opposed to that big chicken joint who manage to mess my order up about 1in 3 times. They are not the world's number 1 fast food joint by accident. They must have a magnificent training operation as I can't ever remember coming across a rude McDonald's staff member. Always a pleasure to stop in and grab a quick bite and be on my way within about 3 minutes on average I reckon. Lots for kids to do there if you have them. Which is great for kids I guess and parents get a bit of a break. But that's the main reason I avoid going in these days. Kids are dirty, noisy, annoying mini humans. But, they are very well provided for. Only blemish is the new straws. It's a great move for the environment but they need to find another non plastic solution for the frozen drinks because those paper straws don't cut it for the frozen drinks. Besides that very minor thing.. another satisfied customer.

The staff and management working today 6/10/24 1.10pm, may need to understand and read their policies in regards to how to use and process their system. Perhaps the franchise owner should retrain all of their staff also. I today ordered through the app and paid in full, to arrive at the drive though on a busy afternoon. The young girl advised me to drive through. I got to the paying counter, and again was told to drive through as I had paid. Please review your cameras, as this is the account of what happened and I do not appreciate your ingorant staff. I then got the counter to collect my order, and was told that the manager watched me drive straight through. Watch your camera and you will discover that I actually stopped in your drive through 3 times! Pm me for my rego! I asked why this was rellevant, as I had already paid. She then proceded to argue that her manager watched me drive through, which the manager wasn't even on any of the counters! Retraining is desperately needed. Absolute ignorance. There was no need to accuse me of something I didn't do. I waited patiently, stopped 3 times, one at the order box, 2nd at payment and 3rd to collect. Perhaps your staff were wrong, as each time they had my order confused, even though I ordered on the app with a code. I will be taking my business elsewhere and advise...

I rarely write bad reviews but the fear I felt that eating the food here would bring on a depression of such magnitudes that I simply had to. Moving past an average wait time of 15 minutes from ordering to leaving the drive thru.. the depression that entered my body upon my first bite of a McMuffin; that visually implied to me it had been toasted by its’ burnt edges but was soft raw bread after the first millimetre, coupled with fillings that were dry and old enough to be put into a cellar. Somehow my egg had won first prize in a Picasso breakfast contest and unlike Humpty Dumpty was definitely not put back together again. The coffee was not so much a sad watery funeral of beans but a cremation with a pitiful liquid bouquet. I usually expect that after waiting longer than the time it takes to hire someone here that I would indeed have hot food in my presence but that was not the case, I’m sure half my order was hidden in some attempt at a wild goose chase. I have no idea if this place is real or I micro-napped myself into hell. Maybe the owner is trying to allay an aura of a McDonald’s restaurant but forgot the part about the food being the number one product. 5 stars for a...
