Over There Cafe — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

A highly conveniently situated cafe. Close by is Coles - if you want to do some serious grocery shopping. At the back is the Leagues Club if you’re into drinking and gambling – which I’m not. And to the side is the sport’s ground if you’re into football – which again I’m not.

This was my second visit to the café and it was just as busy at breakfast time as it had been in the afternoon at my last visit. There’s plenty of room both inside the café and outdoors, and parking galore.

The breakfast menu caters for both the hardy eaters and the pickers; and is both creative and ample. I was surprised to find in my wrap not only bacon and eggs, but some greens as well. And I was amazed to see one of my companions eating some potato cakes. Wow! I thought the only person who made potato cakes was my mother.

Dean and I visited this delightful Cafe this morning along with a friend from our units. We had not been there before. First impressions were bright and colourfully decorated with a good selection of food, light meals and salads, good tasting coffee with a good selection of cake and slices to accompany our coffee. We just had a light sample as we had breakfast late this morning Our neighbour fell in love with the decorated wall at one end with a large driftwood and, obvious to us Moreton Island in the background. Our friend is extremely fussy about her coffee as that is her preferred drink so 10 out of 10 to the baristas. The service was quick, friendly and they, the baristas were very smart and polite. I have no doubt we will take advantage of this pleasing cafe at one of our future visits. Well...

On first glance this cafe looks like a small family owned cafe. I walked in and was instantly greeted by two staff memebers, the place was spotless with tables cleared and cleaned instantly to accommodate for new customers. Ordering was quick and the server was so gentle and polite, it actually felt like she wanted to serve me. I ordered the breakfast wrap AND OMG I was shocked it had so much filling and the flavours all worked so well together and that was only one thing off the menu. The owners need to be so proud of their staff aswell as how beautifully thought out there menu is. I 100% will be telling everyone I recommend this...
