In order for me to qualify how good let me give you a 'lil background . Ive been Driving Tourist Coaches since '99 up/down East Coast Australia & moved from NSW to Newport QLD August/October '23 . Finding decent take aways accross each cuisine has been a struggle because plenty choice & plenty fall short on quality for price & quantity . Ive used several Burger places but have found the "Holy Grail" closer to home than 1st thought .. . . My order was quite specific Absolute cremated Bacon Burger with no meat pattie but all other salad . . . (fussy wife) Works Steak Burger 4x Potato Scallops . . . Pineapple fitter Without any over exageration let me say that both Burgers were devoured in record time in between several "omg" moments because how perfectly executed everything was right down to the stack & package The bonus was perfectly fluffy inside crispy outside potato scallops . Ill add my order was the only at this time but can only heap praise & give a high recommendation based on how the "cremated bacon" order was adhered to & delivered . This place seems to of really gone downhill on quality maybe the owners have changed Went here today and was so disappointed the chips are no longer traditional fish & chips shop chips were also extremely overcooked couldn’t even finish them. Also specifically requested NO CHEESE on one schnitzel burger, note on the bag said no cheese but it had cheese so couldn’t eat the burger either by the time I got home to eat I was 20 minutes away so couldn’t drive back Absolutely waste of money and ended up having to buy lunch elsewhere I won’t be going back to...

I just wanted to leave a review. We order here a Cpl of times a month and while the food is great, the amount varies a lot. Sometimes we get a large piece of fish and loads of chips, other times it’s probably half the food. So we never know how much to order. Comparing to other local places I think it’s somewhere in the middle. So sure, you could say we get what we pay for, but it’s just not consistent.
